(EBC; July 16, 2016) - The government of Ethiopia has expressed its deep sorrow over the terrorist attack perpetrated on innocent citizens in Nice, France.
Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom has sent message of condolences to his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault.
More than 84 French and foreign citizens were killed by the attack carried out during the Bastille Day celebrations in the city.
The minister expressed his deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and his solidarity with the people and government of France.
Furthermore, Dr. Tedros said the terroristic attack should be condemned by the international community.
The act presses on all nations to strengthen their struggle against terrorists, the minister stressed.
At least 84 people were killed and 100 injured in the French city of Nice when a man deliberately drove a lorry into a crowd.
