-- UNICEF is making preparations to provide over 100-million USD worth of nutritious foods for children and mothers in drought affected areas.
This was disclosed at a discussion held Wednesday between Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Minister Tedros Adhanom and UNICEF Executive Director Antony Lake in Addis Ababa. (Ethiopian News Agency)
-- Ethiopia and China have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to commence the construction of Adama equipment manufacturing industrial park soon.

--Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs Tedros Adhanom has held talks with Micheal Keating, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) for Somalia on Tuesday.
Tedros explained the decision of troops contributing countries on establishing effective AMISOM command and control for enhanced coordination of operations in the fight against Al-shabaab, adding the establishment of a central command will help AMISOM coordinate with Somalia National forces in joint operations.
