Manama, Nov.29 (BNA): A forum showcasing business opportunities in
Bahrain and Ethiopia is set to be held in the first quarter of next
year. The forthcoming symposium was announced as Bahrain Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (BCCI) First Deputy Chairman Othman Sharif
Al-Rayyes received a Kuwait-based Ethiopian Embassy delegation.
The meeting, which was held at Beit al-Tejjar, was attended by BCCI Chief Executive Officer Nabeel Abdulrahman Al-Mahmoud and other executive administrative officials. The seminar will provide a platform to bolster Bahraini-Ethiopian economic relations and explore investment potentials in both countries.
Al-Rayyes hailed good relations bonding Bahrain and Ethiopia, stressing the keenness of the private sector in the Kingdom to bolster joint economic cooperation and boost the volume of trade exchanges. He urged Ethiopian investors to come to Bahrain and take stock of the investment opportunities in different economic sectors, particularly food industries, banks, petrochemicals, small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
