Church's annual dinner features ethnic mix

HUNTINGTON - For more than 40 years, Holy Spirit Orthodox Christian Church has hosted a Middle Eastern dinner in celebration of the ethnic roots of the founders of the church, many of whom immigrated from Lebanon and Syria.
This year, the annual dinner representing nearly 12 Middle Eastern/Eastern European countries, including Ethiopia, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and parish members from the United States, is offered from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, in the social hall of the church, 1 Woodhaven Drive (one mile from I-64 interchange on 5th Street Road).
"We invite our neighbors to come and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the Tri-State community and savor the unique flavors of the traditional foods of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and throughout the eastern Mediterranean area," said Father John Dixon, parish priest at the church for 15 years and a member of the church 15 years prior to that.
A popular addition has been sampling of the foods of Ethiopia for the past several years.
"Ethiopian dishes have been added over the past eight years, and we have been blessed with Christian Ethiopian families that have become members of the church and offered to share their culture and food with us," said Christina Saad McNeely, chairwoman of this event in her fourth year.
"We are so happy to have all the families' participation and have become one big multicultural family over the past eight years," she said. "We are learning about each other's cultures, which enriches us in the church as well as at home."
Spices used in Ethiopian cuisine make the difference in Middle Eastern foods, which tend to use salt, pepper, cardamom seed, cinnamon and allspice. Ethiopian cuisine uses different spices, such as mitmita (a powdered seasoning mix, red/orange in color and containing ground birdseye chili peppers), cardamom seed, cloves, salt, others such as cinnamon, cumin and ginger.
Available Ethiopian dishes include injera, a signature Ethiopian flat bread, and vegetarian options such as falafel.
"This annual fundraiser helps us reach out to the community and share part of our church's culture with our friends and neighbors," McNeely said.
"I have been involved my entire life with the dinner," she said. "When I was younger, I was one of the children you would see bussing tables and 'helping' but staying out of the way.
"Now I am usually in charge of the a la carte section each year, and this year was also asked to be chairman," she noted. "My aunt, Mary Rahall, is my co-chair and has been a tremendous amount of help."
The main dish for the meal is kibbee, a dish made of bulgur wheat (cracked wheat), minced onions and finely ground lean beef. In addition to the kibbee, cabbage rolls, green beans and rice, salad and baklawa (Arabic version of baklava) round out the meal. Available a la carte items include hummus (chickpea dip), grape leaf rolls, baba ghanouj (roasted eggplant dip), pita bread and various Middle Eastern pastries, including macaroons, date ma'amoul, walnut ma'amoul and more.
Turkish coffee, traditionally served in Greece, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan (each country calls it something different: Arabic coffee, Greek coffee, Syrian coffee, etc.), is also served.
Advance tickets are $15 adults or $20 at door or $10 ages 10 and younger or $15 at door. Take-out orders are also available. "In the past, our church relied on the Middle Eastern dinner in order to cover a portion of the operating costs of the church," Dixon said. "Now, because of the growth in our church, over the past two years, we have been able to donate 10 percent of the proceeds to Recovery Point and Lilly's Place."
"This year, funds will be donated to assist in the continuing recovery efforts from the floods that occurred in West Virginia earlier this summer," McNeely said.
"Hardly a day passes without some news reports of the ongoing violence in the Middle East," she said. "It is easy to forget that the very roots of our Christian faith are there and Orthodox Christians have been there since the time of Jesus Christ and the apostles.
"Our parish is a part of that unbroken link with those Christians of the first century," she said. "We love to share our culture but even more so, we love to share our Orthodox Christian faith that transcends culture or place." Read more here

Anatomy of a failed leadership

The ¼ Prime Minster of Ethiopia was at it again. Abay and Mesfin have been busy warning us of the consequences of getting rid of Woyane. Debretsion is more concerned about the rift in the military while Tigrai warlord Abay Woldu is swearing Wolkait or death. Aba Dula and Kassu were added to give color to discussion not that any body paid attention. It was quarter PM’s turn and he delivered his colorful speech to Woyane 100% Parliament. As usual it was all theatrics and void of any quotable moment.
He did not fail to demonize any and all Ethiopians that do not agree with TPLF. Quarter PM was channeling Woyane madness and very happy to get the rare pat on the back from his handlers. He emulates his mentor Meles Zenawi in every manner. He has copied the late evil leaders sarcasm, his bullying manner where he attempts tasteless jokes at the expense of others and make statements that are neither verifiable nor true. To have no qualms about lying used to be a Woyane trademark but HMD seems to have acquired that habit too. He is a cheap Chinese copy with all the flaws of the original. Americans will call him Mini Me.
He was speaking on behalf of TPLF since he really does not have any vision we know of or any agenda other than serve TPLF as needed. The only power base he has is the Wolaita community he comes from and that is nothing to write home about. He has been a virtual prisoner since Meles plucked him out of Arba Minch to be used as the ‘minor’ nationality face of Woyane. Here is a transcript from a monologue at his recent public appearance:

The point where we disagree is we believe Ethiopian politics have to be Ethiopia’s business but they tell us we generate only 90 percent and 10 percent comes from abroad and they want to meddle. Here is Adwa and all that comes in….We Ethiopians have to do our politics ourselves …you can not mess with us like you do with other African countries, like you hoist a flag and announce the regime has resigned, that would not work in Ethiopia. You cannot control us, we don’t allow outside forces to meddle (play) in our politics. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church that has built so many beautiful churches from contributions because people believed in them if you want political legitimacy you have to make people believe in you, it is not about lack of funding, we will take your ten percent because we need dollars ( laughter) this charities law has destroyed families (corrupt) from getting income, it has cut the hands of those that wanted to involve in our politics. Thus if you go on social media you hear criticism about the stifling effect of the Ethiopian Charities Law, on the other hand if you bring ninety percent from America and get involved locally
I told you it is typical Meles type bravado void of substance. Quarter PM was focused on demonizing the Diaspora and in a roundabout way speaking of the US and the west. Both targets are what keep his regime standing with one leg. The Diaspora Ethiopian is the number one contributor of needed hard currency and a formidable investor in Woyane ponzi scheme. The US is the one that turns it head not to see the Human Rights violations and also allows the regime to borrow from international institutions knowing it is going to be misappropriated. The US also trains Woyane army and pays for all the so-called ‘peace keeping’ missions. These are the two giants quarter PM was chastising for wanting to be involved in Ethiopia affairs. The individual is clueless in the workings of money and politics. He huffed and puffed about sovereignty and pretended to be a Nationalist while TPLF is selling land to the Indians, Chinese, Saudi and others. He wants to hide behind the flag while Woyane is exporting beef to the Arabs while the people starve. He wants to pretend he controls his destiny while his masters have their palms stretched asking for alms.
Quarter PM also discussed the building of churches and the generosity of the faithful in Ethiopia. Why he confused this with politics is not clear. I guess the logic is if Ethiopian Christians can build all these Churches from contributions then charities (NGO) should not get any funding from outside.  Why the regime receives millions from outsiders to balance its budget and why that is considered legal is not clear.
The Ethiopian people never elected HMD to that high office. He was appointed by the Tigrai ruling group. Thus when he speaks no one pays attention. As far as the people are concerned he is just another cadre temporarily occupying the office by the good will of the Woyane party. The late evil tyrant recruited him like he did with Addisu, Abate, Tamirat, Tefera, Aba Dulla, Junedin and many other feeble minds to serve his purpose because he saw something in them. They all were pliable. They were brought in to show the inclusive nature of TPLF. They were window dressing and the Ethiopian people knew it.
As we speak Woyane is calling the debt in. It is time to pay back for the fame and riches made possible by Meles and company. Muktar Kedir and Aster Mamo are the latest victims. The killings in Oromia are going to be their doing. It is time to bring a puppet, make him confess and humiliate him/her in public to wash the crime away.  The TPLF has done this before. Some like Tamirat and Abate Kisho are thrown in the dungeon while a few are allowed to keep what they stole and made to leave (Junedin, Ali). There are those left to roam the City like a ghost (Tefera. Addisu).
Quarter PM was asked about athlete Feyisa Lilesa and his protest in Rio. Of all the things to be said HMD decided to question the ability of our friend to make such a determination. Ato Feyisa was clear about what he is not happy about in his homeland and used the opportunity to let the world know. He was not focused on some philosophical discourse but said as a matter of fact that he has seen family and friends get killed, disappear or suffer and that is what he is protesting. Quarter PM speculated Ato Feyisa did this because others imposed on him. He is not willing to accept that some people have moral values and would not accept being abused for any price. How could that be, doesn’t everybody have a price is what HMD thought.
Ethiopians are lucky to be able to witness such successive mental meltdowns in the mafia group in a matter of two weeks. We witnessed Cadre Getachew Reda and veteran Woyane birdbrains Abay and Mesfin completely lose it when confronted with Amhara Oromo unity. How could that be so, aren’t they like hay and fire subject to ignition without notice asked Getachew while Abay and Seyoum made their bets on the two fighting it out. HMD was totally disgusted by Feyisa Lilisa’s selfless act. What a wasted of opportunity when he could return as TPLF made hero, receive land, build a hotel and share his riches with Woyane. I am hoping this situation with Feyisa is a teachable moment for HMD. I pray that it opens his eyes and he comes to realize leadership is a heavy responsibility and it has to be earned. A young man like our athlete hero is showing HMD the right way to pay back your debt to society and harvest the goodwill of fellow country people. In the action Ato Feyisa undertook there was no financial gain and it also exposed his family and friends to high danger. That is a definition of a hero. His conscience won over.
Quarter PM is in New York for a UN assembly. I ask the individual to sit in his hotel room and see where the road he is on is leading him. The last five years he has been dealing with Woyane and by now he should know that they have no honor. It is clear association with such criminals does not end well. Is he willing to trade his beliefs and core human values for a few years of fame? Is he willing to drag his family thru mud due to the actions of his associates? There is always a way out. He does not have to go back. He can ask for asylum and undo the evil he has facilitated and sleep peacefully knowing finally he did the right thing. HMD please remember to err is human but forgiveness is divine and the Ethiopian people are the kind that will forgive you if you will come clean and help us find a solution to the problem your associates have caused. Ethiopia: Beyond the Horizon

From this quote, we draw a lesson that one must no be evaluated by the final outcome and the top rung he climbed to on the ladder of success, but by the twists and turns he passed through to emerge with flying colours.
Hope is a ladder for human beings. It serves as a stair to reach to the next intended destination. A person ,who will give up easily and back pedal from his career goal, will not be successful in his undertakings.
It is obvious, we Ethiopians have started the long journey of development locking horns with poverty, our sole enemy. In this journey, the young generation, who makes the largest portion of the population, is the main accelerator of the development's engine. It is clear that this segment of the population, guided and supported by golden polices and strategies, is achieving remarkable victories and scripting a new chapter of history fighting against poverty. However, there is a call for safeguarding gained fruits of the youth supporting them by creating better opportunities, creating mechanisms which needs to be applied on mind transformation, and protecting them from various negative psychological, social and economic influences that make them abandon life's pursuit prematurely.
Painting unrealistic hopes with bright colors few brokers delude the youth to dislocate them. Child labour, child trafficking ,unemployment, inappropriate administration , corruptions and globalization cultures etc have negative impact on the youth. These formidable factors hamper the youth from thinking beyond the horizon. These factors, directly or indirectly, wield negative influence on the youth to despair easily and be victim of low self-esteem.
The best remedy for this is, to develop positive thinking , self-esteem and self-confidence . Although challenges are inevitable, equipping oneself with positive thinking and making advantage of every possible opportunity for good is vital for change. It is advisable and essential also to provide the youth with necessary resources such as, finance, employment opportunities, quality education etc. besides empowering with basic life skill trainings and mind transformation activities.
It has to be underlined that change is a process not an overnight phenomenon, there is a need to allude to the quote, "Rome was not built in one day!"
Great innovations and peaks of civilizations, we look today in every aspect in the world, are the results of great visions. They are inheritances, which reach us passing through various challenges. They are the creations of those innovators who didn't yield to despair. Such creative geniuses were thinking beyond the horizons regardless of the challenges they faced.
The present generation should learn a lot from its predecessor generation ;persistence and endurance. Always there is hope for change for those who dream and think beyond the horizon. With God, all is possible !Let us dream beyond the horizon.

Ma'ekelawi! Why Is Ethiopia Still Running a 'Torture Chamber' From the Past?


In Piassa, an area many consider to be the heart of Addis Abeba, rests the Ethiopian Federal Police Force Central Bureau of Criminal Investigation, otherwise known by its Amharic name, Ma'ekelawi (Amharic for central). Notorious for the sever torture detainees are subjected to inside its enclosures, Ma'ekelawi is a time defying institution which has been in use for more than half a century in Ethiopia, sadly for the same purpose.
During the dark days of the Marxist Derg regime between 1974 and 1991, Ma'ekelawi served as a place where thousands of dissenters were exposed to cruelties including disquieting torture and arbitrary killings. More than three decades down the line many of those who survived Ma'ekelawi live a life overshadowed by what happened when they were incarcerated, struggling to fully overcome the experience as they carry the burden of the darkest chapters in their lives.
Today nowhere is that history of horror visibly displayed than at the Red Terror Martyr's Museum around Mesqel Square in central Addis Abeba. The Museum's motto, "Never Ever Again", speaks volumes about the atrocities committed inside Ma'ekelawi throughout the 17 years in power of the Derg regime.
The Red Terror Martyr's Museum was built by the current regime in Ethiopia in honor of the people who perished during its predecessor's infamous Red Terror campaign of 1977-1978. An estimated number of more than half a million Ethiopians were killed during that brutal campaign; and many of the victims have gone through the terrible experience of life at Ma'ekelawi.
For the survivors of the campaign, the Red Terror Martyr's Museum is a place where solace and comfort can be sought. Some survivors who were approached by this magazine found talking about the horrendous experience they had gone through inside the fortress of Ma'ekelawi too much to bear, rendering our attempts to get their stories futile.
Fast forward, decades later and a completely different government that has 'democratic' written all over it, and that waged a civil war against a regime which partially depended on what happened inside Ma'ekelawi to extend its grip on power, the story of Ma'ekelawi remained intact.

'Chambers of horror'
Other than its frightening name, a great number of present-day Ethiopians know little about either the physical structure or the torture techniques applied inside Ma'ekelawi. But a 2013 Human Rights Watch (HRW) report titled: "They Want a Confession: Torture and Ill treatment in Ethiopia's Ma'ekelawi Police Station," revealed a chilling account. It documented in detail the scale of human rights abuses, unlawful investigation tactics, and detention conditions practiced between the years of 2010 and 2013. It accuses investigators of using coercive methods including several ways of torture to extract confessions, statements, and other information from detainees. Depending on their compliances with the demands of investigators, the report said, detainees are punished or rewarded with denial or access to water, food, light, and other basic needs.They are also subjected to sever physical tortures involving beatings and punishments by stressful positions such as hanging them with their wrists tied to ceilings, or being made to stand with their hands tied above their heads for several hours.
The US State Department's annual Human Right Report on Ethiopia, which was released in April this year, also admits that "there were credible reports police investigators used physical and psychological abuse to extract confessions in Ma'ekelawi. Interrogators reportedly administered beatings and electric shocks to extract information and confessions from detainees."
Both reports have been corroborated by several detainees (past and present) who were interviewed by Addis Standard for this story. (See selected stories here).
Many of them refer to Ma'ekelawi as "chambers of horror."
Inside the 'Chambers of horror'
Ma'ekelawi has three different blocks with conditions significantly differing amongst them. Based on the locations and the facilities inside; the three blocks are known as Siberia, Tawla Bet & Sheraton.
Siberia
The worst of the three blocks is called Siberia for none other than the cells' freezing temperature. Siberia alone has between seven and 10 cells at a time, all ranging from 16 to 25 square meters in size. (The number of the cells can go up and down depending on the number of detainees received at a time. And when detainees overwhelm the block, the management converts rooms that serve as storage places or communal rooms into detention centers).
One of the cells in Siberia, cell number 8, is partitioned into four separate cells and is used to keep detainees in solitary confinement. The rooms are just big enough to accommodate a mattress to sleep and a bucket to urinate on. They have no window and no light inside, which is why they are called "Chelema Bet" (Amharic for Dark House).
The rest of the Siberia block hosts communal cells, which are lined up along a long corridor facing one another. They do share similar features with "Chelema Bet": the rooms are naturally dark except for a dim fluorescent light hanging on a barred, small window near each ceiling. The metal doors have small peepholes, often covered on cardboard, and are kept locked for 24 hours. Detainees inside these communal cells are allowed to have just 10 minutes of access to daylight per day. The only other stuffs in each communal cell are mattresses, a bucket and a few food bowls. Up to 20 detainees (sometimes more) are forced to share each of the communal cells, which are not more than 4X5 square meters in size.
At one end of the corridor there are five filthy toilets and a shower located adjacent the toilets, all for communal use. While showering is allowed once a week, accessing the toilet is restricted to 15 minutes at a time, twice a day; and as if that is not enough discomfort the toilets don't have doors to give detainees the privacy they need.
Tawla Bet
Tawla Bet (Amharic for wooden house), is where those who are coerced to testify against fellow detainees are kept as prosecutors' key witnesses. For many of the detainees Tawla Bet is a place of heartache, guilt and moral dilemma; many of them are brought into a point of mental breakdown to testify against fellow detainees under sever duress.
Tawla Bet is also where female detainees are kept. Although most of the regulations are similar with Siberia, the doors in Tawla Bet cells can stay open during daytime, allowing detainees to sit at their doorstep and sometimes move from one cell to the other, a precious asset inside the two blocks.
Sheraton
Named after Ethiopia's luxurious hotel, Sheraton is a block in which detainees are indulged with a movement as well as access to lawyers and relatives. They can also watch television - mainly broadcast of the state TV programs - at daytime. Detainees who went through interrogations in Siberia and Tawla Bet and are waiting to be officially charged are the primary occupants of the Sheraton block.
The political element
Amha Mekonen, a prominent defense attorney who has represented some of the high profile defendants in recent years - including the much publicized case of Zone9 bloggers - is no stranger to the stories of Ma'ekelawi detailed in the HRW report. "Defendants who are detained at Ma'ekelawi often complain that they are subjected to inhuman treatments," he tells this magazine. "Some of the defendants even manage to convince courts that they indeed have been abused and assaulted."
One key problem Amha sees with Ma'ekelawi is that "the division initiates investigation without actually having any real ground to suspect that there is a crime that warrants an investigation. Many say this happens when the case is politically motivated. I am not sure whether that is true or not. What I am sure is the fact that there are instances when the division begins investigation without having sufficient evidence," he says.
But for the HRW's report the political element in Ma'ekelawi's conduct is not easy to miss. The facility is the first stop for the majority of the country's opposition politicians, journalists, protest organizers, and alleged supporters of ethnic insurgencies once all are taken into police custody, the report says.
Article 6/1 of the Ethiopian Federal Police Commission Establishment Proclamation 720/2011 gives the Federal Police the duty to prevent and investigate any threat and acts of crime against the Constitution and the constitutional order, security of the government and the state and human rights offenses. As a result the majority detainees in Ma'ekelawi are suspected of committing Federal offenses.
Furthermore, Ethiopia's introduction in 2009 of the infamous Anti-Terrorism Proclamation (ATP) has made Ma'ekelawi an important site for the detention and investigation of most of the politically sensitive cases, according to the HRW report. The provisions included in Ethiopia's ATP seriously undermine basic legal safeguards against prolonged pre-charge detentions. Thus, once accused of offenses under this law, the facilities at Ma'ekelawi automatically become home to the majority of detainees in preparation for their trials, according to the report.
As of late the facility is overcrowded, Amha says. "I heard that they are transferring some of the detainees to Addis Abeba Police Commission nearby," he says. "This shows that they are overwhelmed with cases. It might be criminal cases or something else. It might be something the government wants to suppress. It can be politically motivated," Amha opines, but Tsegaye Ararssa, a Melbourne-based legal scholar, is unambiguous in his assertion: "the fact that the larger proportion of detainees are political prisoners and prisoners of conscience indicates that something is wrong with the way the politics is run in that country," he told this magazine in a written interview.
One of the factors that made living conditions inside Ma'ekelawi hellish has always been the disproportionately big numbers of people forced to stay in a single room. "We hear that around 12 sometimes up to 15 people are detained in a cell which is no wider than 4 meter square," says Amha.
Recently, Bekele Gerba, first secretary general of the opposition Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC) - and who is going through life at Ma'ekelawifor the second time - made a passionate plea at a federal court that he and 21 other detainees were forced to stay at a "4×5 meter cell that included a toilet".
The Constitution: Ma'ekelawi's first victim
The operations inside Ma'ekelawi are not only against basic human rights but are at odds with the Supreme Law of the land, the constitution, as well as other laws the country governs itself by, according to Amha. For Tsegaye the essential purpose of Ma'ekelawi is "regime security not human security" and as such it has become an institution that flouts the rights and security of citizens that are otherwise guaranteed in the country's constitution.
Article 19 (2/5) of the Ethiopian Constitution, for example, asserts that people under police custody should not be forced to make confessions or make admissions which could be "used in evidence against them". It nullifies any evidence obtained under coercion as inadmissible in the court of law. And article 24 of Proclamation No. 720/2011 prohibits the police from committing, "any inhuman or degrading treatment or act."
In addition, regulation on the Treatment of Federal Prisoners 138/2007 (art. 3/1) clearly states that "no discrimination on grounds of gender, language, religion, political opinion nation/nationality, social status or citizen," while art. 3/2 of the same Regulation guarantees "respect to [the detainees'] human dignity unless restricted by the penalties imposed on them."
Nonetheless detainees at Ma'ekelawi are not only refused access to lawyers and relatives, but are subjected to tortures. "[Similar] tortures we have been hearing in the Derg period such as hanging a bottle of water on male genitals, electric shock, beating, being forced to stand for a long time, and other forms of prolonged interrogations," are committed against detainees, says Amha, adding that defendants also experience self-incrimination and coercion to testify against co-defendants. "What is more astonishing is the level of details and [organized narratives] we find on those confessions. It is as if they were [composed] by someone with a literary background. No one in his right mind incriminates himself in that manner," Amha says.
Tsegaye reinforces Amha's point. "In Ethiopian detention centers fact is not found, or discovered, as such; they are made. They are created in the course of the 'investigation'".
Many detainees are brought from remote areas all over the country. For them the pain is twice as much. "They are separated from their social background and support system. There might even be a language barrier. I am not sure if Ma'ekelawi is equipped with proper translation mechanism during interrogations," says Amha. "And what is worse is after having gone through painful and life-altering months or even years at Ma'ekelawi, they might be acquitted and walk free," he adds.
According to Tsegaye, "the fact that detainees come from afar disconnects them from their family and their support system thereof. But more importantly such distance from one's place of residence becomes a barrier to access to justice. Physical distance, cultural distance, and linguistic distance are the three major barriers to access to justice," Tsegaye said, adding that when a detainee is far removed from his/her own place of residence it "makes it more difficult to gather evidence even for the investigator." But because the main focus is on "infliction of pain on the 'suspect' rather than finding facts, often this fact is neglected."
To ease this problem, if not to solve it, Amha suggests that other criminal investigation facilities should be established in regional states. Further explaining on this, Tsegaye says that in principle regional states can - and perhaps should - have their own system of criminal investigation. But their power would be confined to the crimes over which they have jurisdiction. (The States have legislative competence over criminal matters that are not covered by the federal criminal code.)
As per Proclamation No. 25/1996 (and its amendments since), the State Supreme Courts have jurisdiction over cases that were meant to appear in the Federal High Court, according to Tsegaye. "State High Courts would adjudge cases that are normally under the jurisdiction of the Federal First Instance Court. This practice suggests that, to this extent, the Ethiopian federal system is merely an executive/administrative federal system. (That is to say, it is a federal system where the federal government has a legislative power whereas the States have an executive/administrative power. The State institutions enforce or execute federal laws), Tsegaye explains.

Back to a lingering past
On February 26, 1977 44 prisoners were picked from Ma'ekelawi and were taken to the outskirts of the city where they were executed and buried in a mass grave, Babile Tola, a survivor of Ma'ekelawi, recounts in his book, "To Kill a Generation: the Red Terror in Ethiopia." The youngest of the 44 was only 17 while many of them were aged between 17 and 26. The story of the secret mass execution was brought to light thanks to two prisoners who managed to jump and escape out of the police van on their way to their execution. One of them was the young Hilawi Yosef, who subsequently joined the armed struggle against the Derg regime.
After putting the stories during the armed struggle behind him Hilawi Yosef served in several senior positions in the incumbent's government. Asked by this magazine to relate his story of the Ma'ekelawi Hilawi, who is currently serving as Ethiopia's Ambassador to Israel, declined to return our email, but his story was narrated in Babile Tola's historical book, as well as Girmaye Abraha's "Yemiyanebu Egroch" (Amharic for "The feet that weep"), an apparent reference to the tortures that leave detainees' feet bleeding.
In addition to Ambassador Hilawi Yosef, several other officials in the current government have been, at one point or another, detained at Ma'ekelawi during the Derg regime. It is a fact that leaves Ma'ekelawi's current victims mystified and in endless search for answers on the logic of keeping and running an institution that many died fighting against.
So why is Ma'ekelawi still running?
For Tsegaye, the core reason for its existence as the prime source of state terror is the fundamental insecurity of the Ethiopian state. "There lacks to be a political will to demolish this prime example of the apparatus of state repression," he says. The US state department report revealed that majority of mistreatments happen in "Ma'ekelawi and police stations rather than federal prisons."
Amha carefully points at the existence of other facilities as a viable alternative to (at least) replace the deteriorating physical infrastructure of Ma'ekelawi, but agrees with Tsegaye that lack of political will is what is holding the change back. "You can find the evidence to that within a walking distance. The newly built Addis Abeba Police Commission has a much better criminal investigation block and facility. If there was a political will, the same improvements could have been done to Ma'ekelawi."
However, Amha says he doesn't have any problem with the existence of a Federal Criminal Investigation facility. "My problem is with how it is being operated. [Also] for symbolic reasons, I would prefer it if it is somewhere else because of the horrible memories associated with that place."
Tsegaye argues that the structure and even the name of Ma'ekelawi should have been altered to "reflect the changed politico-administrative structure of the country. Taking account of the federal set up, the name could have changed into 'Federal Bureau of Criminal Investigation'. That it hasn't changed even in name already betrays the virtually non-federal political culture and the political practice of the country to date."
Tsegaye is of the view that if there was a serious thinking into it, such a change - the change from a unitary system to a federal one - would have offered an "opportunity to move away from the dastardly, imperial, and barbaric practices that [Ma'ekelawi] represents and is a symbol of."
One obstacle that hindered this change, according to Tsegaye, is the fact that Ma'ekelawi has never been put to the light of political and legal accountability. "It has never been publicly criticized (for its misdeeds) in representative political institutions (such as Parliamentary Oversight Committees); its power, finance, and personnel have never been put to a transparent audit system; the legal foundation of that institution, its competence (such as the matters it has jurisdiction over), its jurisdiction, and its responsibility framework has never been publicly accounted for."
Aside from the visible lack of political will (see editorial on p.6), lack of skill in crime investigation is yet another factor that contributes to the brutal handling of detainees under police custody, Tsegaye adds. "Criminal investigation is a science, a profession in its own right. Detection requires a distinct set of skills that have to be put to use in the investigation of a particular crime." From his stint as a lecturer at the Police College, Tsegaye remembers "being told that no one was trained in criminal investigation."
Tsegaye is under no illusion that judging from its ultimate purpose as a tool of repression, its ideal location in the heart of Piassa (comforted by a general silence), and the total information blackout on the purpose and everyday conduct of the injustice inside its fortress, the current government is, unfortunately, poised to continue running Ma'ekelawi, despite it being a "monument of state barbarity" and a "primary institution that serves as the true face of the repressive regimes - past and present."

1ኛ፣ሰሞኑን የክሮስ ቸርች አባላት ወደ ኢትዮጵያ መጥተው ሃምሳ ሺ ቸርች በኢትዮጵያ ሊገነቡ ፈቃድ አግኝተዋል፡፡
2ኛ፣የ666 የማይክሮ ችፕ ገጠማ በኢትዮጵያ እና በሌሎች አገሮች ተግባራዊ ሊሆን ነው፡፡ 
3ኛ፣የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ይህን አይነትነት አሰራር የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች እንዳያውቁና ስለዚህ ጉዳይ እንዳይወሩ የሚያግድ ህግ አርቅቆ ሊያፀድቅ ነው፡፡በእነዚህ ሶስት ነጥቦች ዙሪያ መነጋገር አለብን፡፡

በቅርቡ የሰማችሁት ዜና እንዳለ እርግጠኛ ነኝ፡፡ክሮስ ቸርች ግሎባል ሚሽን የተባለ እምነት ድርጅት በቅርቡ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ገብቶ 50 ሺ ሃምሳ ሺ ቤተክርስቲያን ሊያቋቁም ነው፡፡ስራውን በደቡብ ኢትዮጵያና በሌሎች ክልሎች በይፋ ሊጀምር ነው፡፡እነዚህ ቡድኖች ወደ ኢትዮጵያ መጥተው ከአገራችን ባለስልጣናት ጋር ተወያተዋል፡፡ፕሬዘዳንታችን ጨምሮ ሁሉንም አግኝተው ተነጋግረው አስፈቅደውና ተፈቅዶላቸው ነው ስራቸውን የጀመሩት፡፡ሁኔታው እንግዳ ብቻ ሳይሆን አስደንጋጭም ነው፡፡ዓላማቸው ወንጌልን መስበክ እንደሆነና በኢትዮጵያ ከፍተኛ በጀት መድበው 50 ሺ ቤተክርስቲያን መትከል ነው፡፡እንግዲህ ይህን ጉዳይ በሚመለከት እንደ አንድ ኢትዮጵያዊ ግለሰብ ለየራሳችን መጠየቅ ያለብን ጥያቄ ይኖራል፡፡
በመጀመሪያ ደረጃ እነዚህ ሰዎች የሚያስፈቅዱት መንግስትን ወይስ የሚመስላቸውን ምዕመን?ማለት ስለወንጌል ሰበካ ነው አይደለም የሚለውን መንግስት ነው የሚያጣራው?ወይስ የመፅሐፍ ቅዱስ አማኞች?እንደ ሐይማኖተኛ ሳይሆን እንደ መፅሐፍ ቅዱስ ቃል ለነሱ ጥያቄ ማቅረብ ያለበት ማነው?ለምሳሌ መፅሐፍ ቅዱስ ‹‹በመጨረሻው ዘመን ብዙ ሐሰተኛ /ሃሳዊ/ሰዎች ይነሳሉ ብዙ ታዓምራትንም ያደርጋሉ ህዝቡንም ያስታሉ ስለዚህ መርምሩ›› ይላል፡፡ይህን የመመርመርና መንፈስን የመለየት ተግባር የማን ነው?ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ማንን ነው የሚመለከተው?የኔ ጥያቄ ነው፡፡
ምንም ይሁን በብዛቱ አስደንጋጭ መሆን ብቻ በርካታ ጥያቄዎችን እንድናነሳ እንገደዳለን፡፡

ልብ በሉ 50 ሺ ቤተክርስቲያን እንዲሁ በአይምሮዋችሁ፤ጎንደር 44 ታቦት፣ጎጃም 44 ታቦት፣ወሎ 44 ታቦት አዲስ አበባ ይህን ያህል፣ ጂማ ይህን ያህል፣እያላችሁ ቁጥሩን ለመገመት ሞክሩ፡፡በተመሳሳይ ሁኔታ ቦሌ አንድ መካነ ኢየሱስ፣ጦር ሃይሎች አንድ፣ ኮተቤ፣ ሸጎሌ፣ እያላችሁ ለመቁጠር ሞክሩ፡፡በተመሳሳይም የሌላውን ኢትዮጵያዊ ሐይማኖት የማምለኪያ ስፍራ ቁጠሩ፡፡ወይም ለመገመት ሞክሩ፡፡
ከዚህ በፊት በአገራችን የነበሩት እነዚያ ሁሉ የማምለኪያ ስፍራ በረጅም ዘመናት ሂደት እየተገነቡና እየተስፋፉ የመጡ ናቸው፡፡በአንድ ጊዜ 50 ሺ የማምለኪያ ስፍራ በኢትዮጵያ የገነባ የእምነት ድርጅት ወይም ተቋም የለም!!
50 ሺን በብር ደረጃ ብትስሉት ወይም ብትገምቱት አምስት እስር ብቻ ናት፡፡በምንም ብትስሉት ቁጥሩ ብዙ ላይመስል ይችላል፡፡በቸርች ወይም በማምለኪያ ስፍራ ደረጃ ሲሆን ግን ምን እንደሚፈጠር አስቡት፡፡

ቦታን በካሬ እየሸነሸናችሁ በደንብ አብሰልስሉት፡፡ለማመን እንቸገራለን፡፡ይህን ያህል ቸርች በመገንባቱ ደስ የሚለው ሊኖር እንደሚችል ሁሉ የሚከፋም ይኖራል፡፡ያ ሌላ ጉዳይ ነው፡፡ነገር ግን ደስ የተሰኘው አካል እሱ ልክ ነው ብሎ ከያዘው እምነት ጋር እነዚህ ይዘውት የመጡት አይቃረንም ወይ?የሚለውን ማሰብ ለምዕመኑ የሚተው ይሁን በሚል ብንተተወው እንኳን፤ የአካሄዱ አስደንጋጭነት ብቻውን ወደ ሌላ ጥርጣሬ ያመራናል፡፡ጥርጣሬ ብቻ አይደለም ወደ ሌላ ዕውነት ያመራናል፡፡
በእርግጥ ለኢትዮጵያ 50 ሺ ቸርች ያስፈልጋታል?አያስፈልጋትም! ብሎ የሚወስነው አካል ማነው?እስከዛሬስ የት ነበሩ?50 ሺ ቸርች የሚያስፈልገው ምዕመን ስለመኖሩስ እርግጠኞች ናቸው?ወይስ ምዕመኑ በዝቶ ስለተጥለቀለቀና ቸርቾች ስለጠበቡ?የነዚህ ሰዎች ትክክለኛ ኣላማ ምንድነው?ዓላማቸውንስ ለኛ ነግረውናል?ኦኬ መንግስት ማለት ህዝብ ስለሆነ መንግስት ካመነበት በቂ ነው ልትሉ ትችላላችሁ ነገር ግን መንግስት የሰዎችን የነብስ አዳኝ መርጦ ሊሰጥ አይችልም፡፡በዚህ ዙሪያ ያለውን ነገር ለሌላ ጊዜ እናቆየውና ስለተፈቀደላቸው ወይም ስለተሸጠላቸው ቦታ ብቻ እናስብ፡፡ ሃምሳ ሺ ቤተክርስቲን!መቸም ፈረንጅ ሳያቅድና ሳይዘጋጅ እንዲህ አይነት ነገር ይፋ አያደርግም፤ወደ ተግባርም አይገባም፡፡ሲመጡ ደግሞ እኛ ሰይጣን ነን አይሉም፡፡ በቂ ዝግጅት አድርገው ቅዱሳን እንደሆኑ አድርገን እንድቆጥራቸው የሚያደርግ ተግባር እየፈፀሙ ሊያሳዩን ይችላሉ፡፡

ብቻ ተዘጋጅተው የመጡ መሆናቸው ለማንም ግልፅ ነው፡፡ተመልከቱ፤ለአንድ መኖሪያ ቤት እንኳን 500 ካሬ ሜትር ነው በተለምዶ የምናውቀው፡፡ለቸርች ሲሆን ስንት ይሆናል?አንድ ቸርች በስንት ካሬ መሬት ላይ ያርፋል?ይህ ብቻውን ቀና ነገር ይዘው እንዳልመጡ ያረጋግጥልናል!
50 ሺ ቸርች ሊሰሩ ነው፡፡እያንዳንዱ ቸርች በጣም በጣባቡ 1ሺ ካሬ ቢይዝ ብለን እናስብ፡፡ከዚያ በላይ እንደሆነ ሁላችንም እናውቃለን፡፡ግን ነገሩን እናቅልለው ብለን በ 1ሺ ካሬ አረፈ እንበል፡፡እንዲሁ ጠባባብ ቸርች፡፡50000 ሲባዛ በ 1000 50000000/ሃምሳ ሚሊዮን ካሬ ሜትር ቦታ ይሆናል፡፡በ2ሺ ካሬ ካረፈ 100 ሚሊዮን ካሬ ሜትር ቦታ ይሆናል፡፡ወደ ሄክታር ቀይሩት!የሚዘገንን ነው!ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ ሌላ ነገር እንድታስቡ ልጋብዛችሁ፡፡አንድ ቸርች በአማካይ በጣም በትንሹ ስንት ሰው ይይዛል?ወይም ስንት አባል ይኖረዋል?ቸርች ሲባል አገልጋይ አስተዳዳሪ ሰባኪ ወዘተ…ብዙ ሰው ይኖራል፡፡ምዕመንም ይኖራል፡፡ስለዚህ እያንዳንዱ ቸርች በጣም በትንሹ 1ሺ ሰው ቢይዝ/እስከ 5ሺ እስከ 10 ሺም ሊደርስ ይችላል/በትንሹ አንድ ቸርች 1ሺ ሰው ቢኖረው ብለን ካሰብን 1ሺን በ 50 ሺ ብናበዛው 50000000/ሃምሳ ሚሊዮን ሰው ይኖረዋል፡፡አንድ ቸርች በትንሹ 2ሺ አባል ቢይዝ የ 50 ሺ ቸርች አባላት ብዛት 100000000 /መቶ ሚሊዮን/ ሆነ ማለት ነው፡፡የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ቁጥር እ.ኤ.አ በ2015 99 ሚሊዮን ነው፡፡ጠቀለሉት ማለት አይደል?ይህንን ነው አቡነ ፍራንሲስ አንድ ዓለም አንድ ሐይማኖት እያሉ በየአገሩ እዞሩ የሚያሳምኑት!መቸም አንድ ቸርች ከ አምስት መቶ ያነሰ ሰው ይዞ ቸርች አይሆንም፡፡ስለዚህ ጉዳዩ የአንድ ሐይማኖት ጉዳይ ብቻ ሳይሆን ጉዳዩ የኢትዮጵያ እንደሆነ ማሰብ አለብን!ይህን እየሰማንና እያየን ምን እየተከናወነ እንዳለ ማሰብ ካልቻልን ሙሉ በሙሉ ክፉ መንፈስ አይምሮዋችን ተቆጣጥሮታል ማለት ነው! 50ሺ ቸርች!!!

መፅሐፍ ቅዱስ ‹‹ወደ ዓለም ሁሉ ሂዱ ወንጌልንም ስበኩ›› ይላል፡፡ነገር ግን እነዚህ ሰዎች ወይም ይህ ድርጅት መጀመሪያ ቸርቹን ከዚያ ስብከቱን እያሉ ነው፡፡ሙሉውን የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ቀስ በቀስ በቁጥጥር ስር እንደሚያውሉትና ሌላ የሐይማኖት ተቋማት እንደሚጠፉ እርግጠኞች ናቸው ማለት ነው፡፡ወንጌል ተሰብኮ ምዕመን እየበዛ ሲሄድ ነው ቸርች የሚስፋፋው፡፡ያውም በራሱ በምዕመኑና በሐይማኖቱ ተከታይ በሚዋጣ ገንዘብ! እንደዚህ ዘሎ እንደ መንገድ ስራ ፕላን 50 ሺ ቸርች የሚባልበት የሐይማኖት ስርዓት የለም፡፡መንግስትስ መሬት መሸጥ ነው የያዘው ወይስ የሀይማኖት ነፃነትን ለማንሰራፋት? እኔ ኦርቶዶክስ ብሆንና አንድ የውጭ የሐይማኖት ድርጅት ወደ ኢትዮጵያ መጥቶ 50 ሺ ቸርች ልሰራ ነው!ቢለኝ ‹‹ኧረ አባ 50 ሺ ቤተክርስትያን በዚች ጠባብ አገር?››ብየ እሞግታለሁ፡፡እኔ ፕሮቴስታንት ብሆን ‹‹50 ሺ የፕሮቴስታንት ቸርች ልናቋቁም መጣን!›› ቢሉኝ፤‹‹ኧረ ፓስተር 50 ሺ ቸርች?››ብየ መቃወሜ አይቀርም፡፡እኔ ካቶሊክ ብሆንና የሌላ አገር ቅርንጫፍ ተቁዋም መጥቶ ‹‹50 ሺ ቸርች በኢትዮጵያ!››ሲለኝ ብሰማ፤‹‹እንዴት?››ብየ መቃወሜ አይቀርም፡፡እኔ ሐይማኖት አልባ ብሆንና ይህን ነገር ብሰማና ባይ፤ ‹‹እንዴ እንዴት?ያገሬ ገበሬ ምን መሬት አርሶ ሊበላ ነው?››ማለቴ አይቀርም፡፡እኔ ከየትኛውም ወገን ብሆን ይህን ዜና መቃወሜ አይቀርም፡፡መንግስትም ብሆን ‹‹ከፍተኛ የሆነ የመሬት ወረራ›› እለዋለሁ፡፡ስለሚፈናቀለው ሰው አስባለሁ፡፡ይህን ያስቀደምኩት ጉዳዩ የሐይማኖትና የሐይማኖተኞች ጉዳይ ብቻ ሳይሆን የአገር ህልውና ጉዳይ መሆኑንም ጭምር ለማስገንዘብ ነው፡፡ይህ ጉዳይ በቀጥታ የኢትዮጵያን ህዝብ ከሌላው ዓለም ህዝብ በፊት የአውሬው ምልክት የሚባለውን የ666ን ወይም የማይክሮ ችፕ ገጠማን ለማከናወን የተጀመረ ጅምር ወይም የመሰረት ድንጋይ እንደሆነ ከመጠርጠርና ከማሰብ ውጭ ሌላ ስያሜ ልንሰጠው አንችልም!ሌላ ማሰብና መገመት የምንችለው ነገር የለም፡፡ይህን አርማ ደግሞ በቀላሉና በቶሎ አይቀበሉም ተብለው የተፈሩት የኢትዮጵያዊ ዜጎች ናቸው፡፡ በዚህ ሀሳብ የሚስቅ ሰው ካለ ቀስ እያለ እንደሚያለቅስ የታወቀ ነው፡፡‹‹ኢትዮጵያን ይፈልጉዋታል፡፡ኢትዮጵያ ከመጨረሻው ዘመን ጋር በተያያዘ ትልቅና ወሳኝ የሆነ መንፈሳዊ ነገር በውስጡዋ አለ፤ኢትዮጵያ በዚህ ጉዳይ ልዩ አገር ናት››ሲባል የሚያፌዙ ምሁራን እንዳሉን እናውቃለን፡፡ግድ የለም ሁሉም በዘመኑ ይፋ ይሆናል!ለታወሩት ሳይሆን ላልታወሩት ነው ነገሩ ግልፅ የሚሆነው፡፡
ይህን ጉዳይ በስተኋላ የምንመለስበት ይሁንና ስለተያያዡ ነገር እንይ፡፡

መፅሐፍ ቅዱስ በዮሐንስ ራዕይ ምዕራፍ 13 ቁጥር17-18 እንዲሁም ምዕራፍ 14 ቁ 9 ላይ ‹‹የአውሬውም ስም ወይም የስሙ ቁጥር ያለው ምልክት የሌለበት ማንም ሊገዛ ወይም ሊሸጥ እንዳይችል ያደርጋል፡፡ጥበብ በዚህ አለ፡፡አእምሮ ያለው የአውሬውን ቁጥር ይቁጠረው፤ቁጥሩ የሰው ቁጥር ነውና፤ቁጥሩም ስድስት መቶ ስድሳ ስድስት ነው፡፡…..ለአውሬውና ለምስሉም የሚሰግድ፤በግንባሩ ወይም በእጁ ምልክቱን የሚቀበል ማንም ቢኖር፤….የስሙንም ምልክት የሚቀበል ሁሉ ቀንና ሌሊት እረፍት የላቸውም፡፡››ይላል፡፡ሙሉውን እንድታነቡት እመክራለሁ፡፡
ባሁኑ ሰዓት በአሜሪካና በሌሎች የ666 ማይከክሮ ችፕ /የአውሬው ምልክት ተዘጋጅቶ አልቆዋል፡፡ምስሉን ዝቅ ብላችሁ እንደምታዩት ሂደቱ እየተጠናቀቀ ነው፡፡ይህ ለዓለም ህዝብ ሁሉ የተዘጋጀና በእጅና በግንባር የሚሰጥ ምልክት ተመርቶ ወይም ተዘጋጅቶ ወደ ቀጣዩ ስራ እየተገባ ነው፡፡
የቀረው የስርጭት ጉዳይና ከማን ይጀመር የሚለው ነው፡፡ልብ በሉ፤የግብረሰዶማውያን ህግ ቀድሞ እንዲፀድቅ ተፈልጎ የነበረው በኢትዮጵያ ነው፡፡ሳይሳካ ሲቀር በአሜሪካ ፀደቀ፡፡ከዚያ በዘዴ ተመልሰው መጡ፡፡

በቅርቡ ደግሞ ባራክ ኦባማ ‹‹በሲ ኤን ኤን ቴሌቪዥን ቀርቦ እስከ 2017 ሁሉም አሜሪካዊ ማይክሮችፕን በቀኝ እጁ መግጠም አለበት››የሚል ይፋዊ መግለጫ ሰጠ፡፡የቫቲካኑ ጳጳስም በየአገሩ እየዞረ አሳመነ፡፡
እስካሁን በአስር ሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ አሜሪካውያን ብቻ ተቀብለው ሌላው በማጉረምረም ላይ ይገኛል፡፡ሆኖም የሚቀርለት የለም፡፡ይህ በሆነ ማግስት ልክ እንደ ግብረሰዶሙ ህግ ሌላው ዓለም ቀስ ብሎ መቀበሉ እንደማይቀር ስለሚታመን በዋናነት ትኩረቱ ኢትዮጵያና ህዝቡ ላይ ሆነ፡፡ማይክሮ ችፕን በቀኝ እጁ ያላስገጠመ ሰው መሸጥ መለወጥ አይችልም፡፡በዚህ ማይክሮችፕ አማካኝነት የገንዘብ አካውታችን፣የደም ዝውውራችን፣ያለንበት ቦታ፣በአይምሮዋችን ያለው አስተሳሰብ ሁሉንም ውስጡ ባለው ip numbere አንዱ አካል ይቆጣጠራል፡፡ልጆችን ማስተማር፣ታሞ መታከም፣ገንዘብ መላክ፣ገንዘብ መቀበልም ሆነ ምንም ማድረግ ስለማይቻል ነገሩ የውዴታ ግዴታ የሆነበት ይቀበላል ነው ቀመሩ፡፡ ያልተቀበለ እምነቱን ጠብቆ መሞት ይችላል፡፡ለኢትዮጵያውያን ግን እንደሌላው ዓለም ህዝብ በፍላጎት ሳይሆን በሀይል ለመጫን ነው ፍላጎታቸው፡፡ለዚህም ይረዳ ዘንድ የበግ ለምድ ለብሶ የመጣ ተኩላ እንደሚባለው በወታደራዊና በደህንታችን ላይ ምናምን..በሚል ሽፋን የተሰጠው መርዝ የሆነ ህግ ከ ሶስት ቀን በፊት በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ተረቆ በፓርላማ ሊፀድቅ ነው፡፡ይህ ህግ ዝርዝሩ ብዙ ነው፡፡ህጉ ከምንም ነገር ጋር እንደማይያያዝ ተደርጎ በይፋ የተገለፀውንና ሪፖርተር ጋዜጣ ያወጣውን ብዙዎቻችሁ አይታችኋል፡፡
እንነጋገርበት!

ይህን ህግ ምን አገናኘው ልትሉ ትችላላችሁ፡፡ነገር ግን መቶ በመቶ ይገናኛል፡፡ሌሎችን አንቀፆች ስናይም በደንብ ይገባናል፡፡ 
ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ፀደቀ ማለት ኢትዮጵያውያን አይናቸውን ጨፍነው ስለምንም ነገር ሳያውቁ ወደማያውቁት ጥልቅ የጭለማ ህይወት ውስጥ እንዲገቡ ማድረግ ማለት ነው፡፡ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ፀደቀ ማለት የተማረው ጥቂቱ ህዝብ በወሬ ደረጃ እንኩዋን ላልተማረ ወገኑ አንዲት ፍሬ ያላት ሃሳብ ማስተላለፍ አይችልም ማለት ነው፡፡ህጉ ፀደቀ ማለት የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ በጅምላ ለመስዋዕትነት የሚነዳ በግ ተደረገ ማለት ነው፡፡በግ ሲነዳ ለግጦሽ ይሁን ለእርድ አያውቅም፡፡ይህ ህግ ቀጥተኛ ትርጉዋሜው ዓይናችሁን ጨፍኑና እኛ እናሞኛችሁ፤ጆሮዋችሁን ድፈኑና እኛ እንስማላችሁ ማለት ነው፡፡ህጉ ፀደቀ ማለት ወላጆች ስለ ልጆቻቸው ምንም መብት የላቸውም ማለት ነው፡፡

ለምሳሌ ስለ ህፃናት ስርቆት አንድ ዓለም አቀፍ መረጃ ቢኖር ያን መረጃ ኢትዮጵያውያን ወላጆች ሰምተው መጠንቀቅ አይችሉም፡፡ዓለም በሂውማን ትራፊክ እየተሰቃየችና በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ህፃናት ተሰርቀው ለክፉው መንፈስ ለመስዋዕትነት እየዋሉ ነው፡፡ይህን መረጃ ከዓለም የመረጃ መረቦች ወስደን በብቸኛዋ መተማመኛችን ተርጉመን በፌስ ቡክ ብንለቅና ወላጆች ተጠንቀቁ የሚል ነገር ፅፈን ፖስት ብናደርግ፤በህዝቡ ዘንድ ሽብር በመፍጠር በሚል 25 ዓመት ያሳስራል፡፡በዚህ ምክንያት የሚታሰረው አንድ ሰው ሳይሆን፤ላይክ ያደረገ፣ያነበበ፣ሼር ያደረገ፣ኮሜንት የሰጠ፣ሁሉም ይታሰራል ነው፡፡ስንቱን አስሮ ይችላል?ልትሉ ትችላላችሁ፡፡ጥቂት ሰዎችን ካሰሩ ሌላው ፈርቶ ይተዋል፡፡ደግሞም ለእንዲህ አይነቱ ቀና ተግባር ጊዜ መድበው የሚፅፉት ውስን ሰዎች ናቸውና ዋና ዋናውን ማሰር ብቻ በቂ ሆኖ አግኝተውታል፡፡

ይህ ህግ ፀደቀ ማለት ለምሳሌ ስለ ግብረሶዶማውያን አፀያፊነት ተግባር እየፃፈ ተጠንቀቁ ወገኖቸ፣ልጆቻችሁንም በትምህርት ቤት ስለ ግብረሰዶም ጥሩነት የሚያስተምር ኩዋርኩለም ቀርፀው እያስተማሩ ነውና….እባካችሁ ጥብቅ ክትትል አድርጉ ወዘተ…ተብሎ ቢፃፍ፤ መረጃውም በፎቶና በቪዲዮ ቢደገፍ ያን ያደረገ ሰው ይታሰራል ማለት ነው፡፡ሌላውም ፈርቶ መረጃውን ይፋ ከማድረግ ይቆጠባል ማለት ነው፡፡
ለምሳሌ አንድ ታዋቂ የሐይማኖት አባት በይፋ ግብረሰዶማዊ ቢሆንና መሆኑን የሚያረጋግጥ ይፋዊ መረጃዎች ቢኖሩ እንኩዋን ስለዚያ ታዋቂ የሐይማኖት አባት ግብረሰዶማዊ መሆን መናገርና መረጃውን ማሰራጨት፤መረጃውንም ይፋ አድርጎ ቅኑን ምዕመናን ለማስጠንቀቅ ቢታሰብ አይቻልም፡፡ስም ማጥፋት፣ህዝቡን ማወናበድ በሐይማኖት ላይ ሽብር መፍጠር፣አመፅ ማነሳሳት፣ዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነትን በመረበሽ በሚል እስር ይጠብቀናል፡፡ስለዚህ የሚያውቁትም ዝም እንዲሉ ህግ ያስገድዳል!የሚያውቁትም ለማያውቁት መንገር ክልክል ነው! ማለት ይሆናል፡፡እጅግ የሚያሳዝንና ሁላችንንም ሊያስቆጣ የሚችል ህግ ነው፡፡በጣም የሚያሳዝነው ይህ ህግ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የሚተገበረው በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ብቻ መሆኑ ነው፡፡ለምን ኬንያ ላይ ይህ ህግ አልወጣም?ለምን ኡጋንዳ ላይ ለምን ናይጀሪያ ላይ አይወጣም?ለምን ኢትዮጵያ ላይ?

ይህ የኮምፒውተር ህግ በሚል ሽፋን የወጣው ህግ በቀጥታ ከማይክሮችፕ ገጠማ ጋር በተያያዘ ህዝቡ ምንም ሳይልና ሳመነታ እንዲቀበል ለማስገደድ እንጂ ለሌላ ለምንም አይወጣም፡፡ነገርየው በኮምፒውተር አይፒ ነምበር ሁሉንም ዜጋ ከመሰለል ጋር የተያያዘ ይምሰል እንጂ ከዚያ ያለፈ ነው፡፡ማይክሮችፕ ሲባልም ልክ ኮምፒውተር ላይ እንዳለው አይ ፒ ነምበር ሰዎች ላይ አይፒ ነምበር መግጠም ማለት ስለሆነ ተመሳሳይ ነው፡፡ኮምፒውተር የሚሰለለው በ ኤ ፒ ነምበ ነው፡፡እናም የ666ን ምልክት ስንቀበልና ደማችን ውስጥ ለዘላለም እንዳይወጣ ሆኖ ሲቀበር የሚቀበረብን ነገር ቁጥር ወይም አይ ፒ ነምበር ነውና በዚያ አማካኝነት በአንድ በጥልቁ ወይም በአውሬው አገዛዝ ስር እንሆናለን ነው፡፡ቴክኖሎጂው ረቂቅ ስለሆነም ለብዙዎች በቀላሉ ላይገባ ይችላል፡፡መረጃ በደንብ ከተለዋወጥን ግን ግልፅ ነው፡፡ያንን ነው እንዳናውቅና እንዳናወራበት የተፈለገው፡፡ይህ ደግሞ በሐይማኖት ስም ነው የሚሰጠው፡፡ስለዚህ አሰራሩን የተቃወመ ኢትዮጵያዊ በኮምፒውተር ህግ ወንጀለኛ ይባላል ይታሰራል ለፍርድ ይቀርባል ነው፡፡

ዜጎች የክፉውን መንፈስ አሰራር እንዳያውቁና እንዳያሳውቁ አውቀውም እንዳያጉረመርሙ በሚል ነጥብ ብቻ ነው ይህ ህግ ያስፈለገው፡፡ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የተረረቀውና ለመፅደቅ የተዘጋጀው ደግሞ በኢትዮጵያ ነው፡፡
ልብ በሉ ዓለማችን ላይ ብዙ ሽብር ያለባቸው አገሮች አሉ፡፡ብዙ ጦርነት ያለባቸው አገሮች አሉ፡፡ብዙ የኢንተርኔት መረጃ ጠለፋ የሚከናወንባቸው አሉ፡፡ብዙ የደህንነት ስጋት ያለባቸው አገሮች አሉ፡፡በኮፒውተር ሳይንስ ጣራ የደረሱ አገሮች አሉ፡፡ብዙ ተጠቃሚዎች ያሉባቸው አገሮችም አሉ፡፡የእነዚህ አገራት መንግስታት ግን ይህን አይነት ህግ አላስፈለጋቸውም፡፡ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ያለው የኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚ ቁጥር ስንት እንደሆነ ይታወቃል፡፡እ.ኤ.አ በ 2015 የወጣው የኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚ ቁጥር ልንገራችሁ፡፡ኢትዮጵያ 3.7 ሚሊዮን ህዝብ ኢንተርኔት ይጠቀማል፡፡3.7 ሚሊዮን ህዝብ ፌስቡክ ይጠቀማል፡፡እንግዲህ የሌላውን አገር ስናይ ለምሳሌ ኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚው 10 ሚሊዮን ይሆንና ፌስ ቡክ ተጠቃሚው 2 ሚሊዮን ይሆናል፡፡ይህ ማለት በሌላው አገር ኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚ የሚባለው ፌስ ቡክ ተጠቃሚው ብቻ አይደለም፡፡ሌሎች ብዙ ማህበራዊ ድረ ገፆች ስላሉ፡፡ኢትዮጵያ ላይ ግን 3.7 ሚሊዮን ህዝብ ኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚ ነው፡፡3.7 ሚሊዮኑም ፌስ ቡክ ላይ ብቻ ነው እንደማለት ነው፡፡ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚ የሚለው ፌስቡክ ተጠቃሚውን ብቻ ነው ማለት ነው፡፡

ታዲያ ይህ ህግ ለምን አስፈለገ?ከብት ባልዋለበት ለምን ኩበት ይለቀማል?መልሱ ቀላል ነው፡፡ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ብቸኛው የመረጃ መረብ ባሁኑ ሰዓት ፌስ ቡክ ብቻ ስለሆነ ነው፡፡እነ ዩቲዩብ እነ ምናምን አሉ፡፡እነሱን ለማየት አቅም ያለው ውስን ነው፡፡ከቁጥርም አይገባም፡፡ቤታችሁ ውስጥ 10 ሰዎች ካሉ በእርግጠኝነት 9ኙ ፌስ ቡክ እንጂ ቲዊተር ወይም ሌላ አይጠቀሙም፡፡

ኢትዮጵያ በኢንተርኔት ክፍያ የመጨረሻዋ ውድ ሂሳብ ያለባት አገር ናት፡፡በዚህ ዙሪያ ፕሮፌሽኔ ነውና በቀጣይ በሰፊው መረጃ እሰጣችሁዋለሁ፡፡ላሁኑ ግን ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ከፀደቀ ስለሚከተሉት ነገሮችና ህጉ ስላስፈለገበት ዋና ምክንያት ጥቂት ልበላችሁ፡፡ 
ኢትዮጵያ ላይ ይህ ህግ የሚወጣበት ዋና ምክንያት ከኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ጋር የሚያያዝ ጉዳይ ስላለና ያንን ማወቅ በፌስ ቡክ እየተቀባበሉ መረጃ ማሰራጨትን ለመገደብ ነው፡፡የኢትዮጵያውያውያን ነገሩን ማራገብ ለጥልቁ አባላት አደጋ ስለሆነ ይህ ህግ ሊወጣ ተዘጋጅቶዋል፡፡
ፓርላማው 547 መቀመጫ ስላለውና 547ቱ ራሱ ስለሆነ ተረቀቀ ማለት ፀደቀ ማለት ነው፡፡ፀደቀ ማለት ደግሞ ያለ አንዳች ከልካይ የየትኛውም አገር ዜጋና የየትኛውም አገር መንግስት ፤መንግስታዊ የሆነና ያልሆነ ድርጅት፤የየትኛውም የሐይማኖት መሪ ነኝ ባይ ያለገደብ የኢትዮጵያን ህዝብ ለፈለገው ዓላማ ሊገለገልበት ይችላል ማለት ነው፡፡በአጭር አገላለፅ በኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ፈቃድ ብቻ ህዝቡን ከሰብዓዊ ፍጡርነት ወደ እንስሳነት ለውጦ ለገዥው አካል ማስረከብ ማለት ነው፡፡ወይም መሸጥ!ይህ ነገር ድሮ ታስቦና ተተግብሮ ቢሆን ትኩረት ላይሰጠው ይችል ነበር፡፡አሁን ግን ጫወታው ተቀይሮዋል፡፡ዓለምና ህዝቦቹዋን በአንድ በአውሬው አገዛዝ ስር የማድረግ ሂደት በተጀመረበት በዚህ ወቅት ስለሆነ የተለየ ትኩረት አስፈለገው፡፡ዓለምን በአንድ አጋዛዝ ስር ለማድረግ ደግሞ እጅግ ፈታኝ ህዝብ ያላት አገር ኢትዮጵያ ናት፡፡ኢትዮጵያውያን በዚህ ነገር በቀላሉ እንደማይጠመዘዙና መንፈሳዊ እርዳታም እንዳላቸው የተረጋገጠ ሐቅ ስለሆነ አገሪቱና ህዝቦቹዋ የተለየ ትኩረት እንዲደረግባቸው ታዞዋል፡፡ለዚህ ደግሞ በህግ ስም መታሰርና መለጎም እንዳለብን ተወስኖዋል፡፡ሌላው ዓለም አስጊ አይደለምና፡፡ስለዚህ ይህ ህግ ፀደቀ ማለት ከዓለም የተገለልንና በህግ የተገደብን በቁማችን ያለን ሙታን ሆነናል ማለት ይሆናል፡፡ይህ ህግ ፀደቀ ማለት የትኛውም አካል ቤት ለቤት እየዞረ የተዘጋጀውን ማይክሮ ችፕ በኢትዮጵያውያን እጅ ላይ ለመግጠም ይችላል፡፡በኮምፒውተር ህግ አስገዳጅነት!አለዚያ አሸባሪ ነን፡፡እስር ቤቱ ቢጠብ ሰፊ እስር ቤት ይሰራልናል እንጂ ለኛ የሚያስብ የሚቆረቆር አካል የለም፡፡ስለዚህ ይህን የአውሬውን ምልክት በሁሉም ዘንድ በሐይል ለመጫን የታሰበው ለኛ ብቻ ነው፡፡ለሌላው ኣለም በውዴታ ግዴታ እንጂ በሀይል አይደለም፡፡ ለኛ ግን አስቸጋሪ ስለምንሆን በሐይል ነው፡፡ይህንና ከዚህ ጋር የተያያዙ ጉዳዮችን የፃፈ፣ያሰራጨ፣ሌላው ዓለም እንዴት እየተቀበለ እንዳለ የሚያሳይ ቪዲዮ የለጠፈ ኢትዮጵያን በሚመለከት ሊወጣ የተዘጋጀ መረጃ የተገኘበት፤እድሜውን በእስር ቤት ያሳልፋል፡፡እዚያም ተገብቶ ይቀርልንም፡፡

ይህ ህግ ካልፀደቀ ግን እንደ ሌላው ዓለም በፍላጎት የሚቀበል ብቻ ይቀበላል፡፡የማይቀበለውን ህግ አያስገድደውም፡፡
እንግዲህ ከላይ ስለ ማይክሮ ችፕ የተፃፈው በግምት አይደለም፡፡የምንፅፈው ዓለም ያወቀውንና በየጎግሉ ያለ፣ እነ ቢቢሲ እነ ሲኤን ኤን የዘገቡት፣መግለጫ የተሰጠበት፣ባራክ ኦባማ ራሱ እስከ 2017 ሁሉም አሜሪካዊ መግጠም አለበት ብሎ መግለጫ የሰጠበት ነገር ነው፡፡ስለዚህ የዓለም ህዝብ አውቆታል፡፡ነገር ግን የኢትዮጵያ ህዝቦች ብቻ!ልብ በሉ የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ብቻ!ይህን ሂደት እንዳያውቅ በህግ ሊታደግ ነው፡፡ስለዚህ ከላይ ስለ ማይክሮ ችፕስ የፃፍኩትን ፅሁፍ በዚህ በአዲሱ ህግ በህዝብ ደህንነትና በዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነት ላይ በኮፒውተር ላይ የሚደረግ የሳይበር ጠለፋ…ወዘተ…በሚለው ህግ እስርና የገንዘብ ቅጣት ይወሰንበታል፣ይታሰራል፣ወይም ይገደላል፡፡ይህን ጉዳይ ኢትዮጵያውያን በቪዲዮና በፌስ ቡክ ካሰራጩም ሆነ ካነበቡ ወይም ፖስት ካደረጉ የስፓም መልዕክቶች ምርታቸውን ለማስተዋወቅ በሚለው አወዛጋቢ ህግ ፍርዱን ያገኛል ነው፡፡የሌላው ዓለም ህዝብ ግን መብቱ ነው፡፡እኛ ግን ስለ ጉዳዩ እንድናውቅ እንኩዋን አይፈለግም፡፡ይህ ህግ የኢትዮጵያን 99 ሚሊዮን ህዝብ አሳልፎ የመስጠት ሂደት እንጂ የሐይማኖቶችን ጉዳይ የሚመለከት ብቻ አይደለም፡፡

የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት አንድ ህግ ካረቀቀና ካፀደቀ ለምን ዓላማና ለምን ተግባር እነማንን ለማሰር የወጣ ህግ እንደሆነ በግልፅ እናውቃለን፡፡
ለምሳሌ የአሸባሪ ህግ ወጣ፡፡ቦምብ ያፈነዳ ሰው አይደለም የታሰረበት፡፡ከሽብር ጋር በተያያዘ በሚል ማንኛውም ግለሰብ ቤት ገብቶ የመበርበር፣ፈላጊው ራሱ አዘጋጅቶ ያመጣውን ሰነድ በተጠርጣሪው ቤት ጥሎ እጅ ከፍንጅ ተያዘ እየተባለ ለማሰር መሆኑን አይተናል፡፡ህጉ ዛሬም አለ፤ህጉ በወጣ ሰሞን ስም ዝርዝራቸው ቀድሞ የተዘጋጀ ሰዎች ታስረውበታል፡፡የታሰሩት እነማን ናቸው?አሸባሪዎች?ጥቂት ጋዜጠኞችና ብሎገሮች ብቻ!17 ዓመት ከቀይ ሽብር እኩል የተፈረደባቸው ጋዜጠኞች ናቸው፡፡ እስር ቤት ያሉትን ውብሸት ታዬንና እስክንድር ነጋን መጥቀስ ይቻላል፡፡ስለዚህ ይህ ህግ ሲፀድቅ የሚተገበርባቸው ሰዎች ብዕረኞችና ብሎገሮች ቪዲዮ ለጣፊዎች እንደሆኑ ማስተዋል አለብን፡፡እነዚህ ሰዎች ደግሞ በስርቆትና በሽብር ሳይሆን ህዝቡን ለማንቃት የፃፉ ናቸው፡፡ባሁኑ ሰዓት ደግሞ የግል ፕሬሶች ተዘግተው ስለቀሩና ወደፊትም ስለማይከፈቱ ብቸኛው መሰናክል ኢንተርኔት ሆኖዋል፡፡ስለዚህ እሱ ላይ መረጃዎችን ይፋ የሚያደርጉ ሊታሰሩባቸው ህግ ተረቀቀ፡፡

ይህ ደግሞ የመጨረሻው መጀመሪያ ነው፡፡ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ቀናነትን መሰረት በማድረግ ብቻ ይፋ መሆን ያለበት መረጃ ይኖራል፡፡ይህ መረጃ ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ይፋ ቢሆን ሰው ራሱን ማዳን የሚችልበት ሁኔታ ይፈጠራል፡፡ይህ ደግሞ በከፍተኛ ሁኔታ የ666ን ዓላማ ሙሉ በሙሉም ባይሆን ያጨናግፋል፡፡ይህ እንዳይሆን መንግስት ህዝቡን የማፈን ስራ ይሰራል፡፡በዚህ ምክንያት መላው ህዝብ የክፉው መንፈስ ዓላማ አስፈፃሚና ተከታይ ወታደር ማድረግ ይቻላል ማለት ይሆናል፡፡ተመልከቱ፤የትኛውም አይነት የቪዲዮ መረጃ ወይም ሌላ ተመሳሳይ ነገር ቢኖር ያንን እኔ ወይም ሌላ ሰው በቦታው ተገኝቶ ላይዘግበው ይችላል፡፡ነገር ግን የሌላው ዓለም ሰው በሆነ ቦታ ቀርፆታል ማለት ነው፡፡ያንን ይፋዊ ቪዲዮ ከሌሎች ተቀብየ ፌስ ቡክ ላይ ወይም ዩቱዩብ ላይ ብለጥፈው እኔ ወንጀለኛ እሆናለሁ ማለት ነው፡፡ለምን ለሌላው ዓለም ህዝብ ሳይከለከል ለኛ ይከለከላል?እኛ ህፃናት ስለሆንን?ወይስ የዓለም ጉዳይ ስለማመለከተን?እኮ ለምን? ብለን መጠየቃችን አይቀርም፡፡ምላሹ ግልፅ ነው፡፡ጉዳዩ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ስለሚመለከት፤ ኢትዮጵያውያን ካወቁት ቁጣ ያስነሳል ተብሎ ስለታመነ ነው መልሱ፡፡ሌላ ምን መልስ አለ?ምንም!ጆሮ ለባለቤቱ ባዳ እንደሆነ መቀጠል አለበት የሚል መርህ ነው የተያዘው፡፡

ኢትዮጵያ ከኮምፒውተር ጋር በተያያዘ ምንም የሚሰለል ነገር የላትም፡፡በቤተ መንግስታችን በዋናው ዳታ ቤዝ ገለመሌ….ያ በዘመኑ ቋንቋ ማጃኮሚያ ይባላል፡፡‹‹ወታደራዊ ሚስጥራችን ተነክቶ ስላየን፣ጥቃት ስለተሰነዘረብን ወዘተ…››ውሸት ነው!
‹‹ኦሮሚያ ላይ ብጥብጥ ስላለ…››ምንናምን በጭራሽ ከዚያ ጋር አይገናኝም፡፡ህዝቡን የትኩረት አቅጣጫ ለማስለወጥና ከጀርባ ምንም የሌለ ለማስመሰል የሚደረግ ያላዋቂ ሰበብ ነው፡፡ሰበቡ ራሱ ህግ አውጭውን አካል ያጋለጠ ነው፡፡ በኦሮሚያ ክልል እነ ቲዊተር ፌስቡክ ዋትስ አፕ፣…ለአንድ ወር ዝግ ሆነው ቆይተዋል ተብሎዋል፡፡ይህ የሆነው ሰው የቪዲዮ መረጃ እንዳይቀባበልና እንዳያስፋፋ ነው፡፡ቴሌ ለዚህ ሲል ዘጋ ነው፡፡ይህ ሆነ ማለት ከብጥብጡ ጋር በተያያዘ ብዙ አሰቃቂ ቪዲዮና የምስል መረጃዎች አሉ ማለት ነው፡፡ይህን መረጃ አንዱ ላንዱ እንዳያቀብለው ነው፡፡የመቀበያ መረቦች የተዘጉት፡፡መንግስት ይህን ከፈራ አሰቃቂ ወይም የህዝቡን ቁጣ የሚቀሰቅስ ድርጊት እየፈፀመ ነው ማለት ነው፡፡ይህን ገመናውን ሳይሰራጭ ለመገደብና ለመደበቅ መሆኑ ነው፡፡ልክ በዚሁ መጠን ይህንን ህግ ከዓለም ህዝብ ለይተው እኛ ላይ ጫኑ ማለት ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ መድረስ የለበትም የተባለ መረጃ አለ ማለት ነው፡፡ይህ መረጃ መኖሩ ከታወቀ በሁዋላ ማጥፋት እንኩዋ ባይቻል ስርጭቱን በህግ መገደብ ብቸኛው ምርጫ ነው፡፡ቢሰራጭ እንኩዋን ለጥቂት ሰዎች ደርሶ ለውጥ ሳያመጣ ይቆማል፡፡ይህ ደግሞ ያሰቡትን ነገር ተግባራዊ ከማድረግ የሚከለክላቸው ደረጃ ላይ አያደርሳቸውም፡፡ዋናው የስርጭት አድማሱ አለመስፋቱ ነው፡፡በተጨማሪም ወሳኙን የቤት ስራቸውን በፅኑ መሰረት ላይ እስኪገነቡ ድረስ እንጂ ከዚያ በኋላ ህጉም ሊሻር ይችላል፡፡

ይህ ህግ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ሊጎዳ የሚችለው ግን በዋናነት በአንድ ዘርፍ ብቻ ነው፡፡
እኛ ኢትዮጵያውያን ያለ ኢንተርኔት መኖር እንችላለን፡፡ ያለ ስልክም ሰው መኖር ይችላል፡፡ኖረናልም፡፡አሁንም ለሌላው ዓለም እንጂ ለኛ ኢንተርኔት ካለ አይቆጠርም፡፡ስለዚህ የመረጃ ልውውጥ በሁሉም ዘርፍ ሊጎዳን ቢችልም ነብሳችን ግን አይነጥቀንም፡፡እኛን ሊጎዳን የሚችለው ዓለም እየተነጋገረበት ስላለው ስለ ማይክሮ ችፕ ገጠማ ግንዛቤ እንዳይኖረን በማድረግ ረገድ ብቻ ነው፡፡በአሁኑ ሰዓት ደግሞ ለኢትዮጵያውያን/ለብዙሃኑ/መንገር የሚያስፈልገውና የመረጃ ልውውጥ ወሳኝ የሚሆነው በኔ እይታ ለዚህ ጉዳይ ነው፡፡ኢትዮጵያውያን አሁን ካላቸው አቋም አንፃር ፈፅሞ ግብረሰዶማዊ መሆን እንደማይፈልጉ ነው፡፡የዓለም መሪዎች አሁን ከጀመሩትና የዓለምን ህዝብ ለበላያቸው ለክፉው መንፈስ መገልገያነት አሳልፎ ለመስጠት በሚል የያዙትን አቋምና ሂደት ኢትዮጵያውያን ላይ በቀላሉ መተግበር እንደማይችሉ ያውቃሉ፡፡‹‹አለትን በድንጋይ መፍለጥ›› ይሉታል፡፡መንግስት ካገዛቸው ግን አለቱ አፈር ይሆናል ብለው ያምናሉ፡፡በዚህ ብቻ ብዙዎችን ማዳን ሳይቻል ይቀራል፡፡ስለዚህ መፍራት ካለብን ይህን ብቻ ነው፡፡ቢያንስ እንደሌላው ዓለም ህዝብ በውዴታ ይሞክሩን እንጂ በሃል በመንግስት ተሸጠን መሆን የለበትም፡፡ይህ ፖለቲካዊ ጥያቄ አይደለም፡፡የሰብአዊ መብት ጉዳይ ነው፡፡በነፃነት ማሰብ ማገናዘብ የመቻል የመብት ጥያቄ ነው፡፡

ለምሳሌ እኔ በኮምፒውተር ጥቃት ከደረሰብኝ ከኔ የሚጠበቀው መከላከል እንጂ መከላከል ያለብኝ ራሴ ነኝ፡፡ወይም ለድረገፁ ማመልከት፡፡በአገርና በመንግስት ደረጃ ደግሞ አስቡት፡፡ጥቃት ስለደረሰብኝ ህግ አወጣለሁ ካለ፤ጥቃቱ የደረሰው ከኤርትራም ይሁን ከሌላ በህግ መገደብ እንዴት መፍትሄ ይሆናል?ለምሳሌ ኢሳያስ አፍወርቂ አስመራ ሆኖ የኮምፒውተር ባለሙያ ቀጥሮ የኢትዮጵያን ቤተ መንግስት ቢሰልልና ቢደረስበት አሁን በተረቀቀው ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ፍርድ ቤት ሊቀርብ ነው?እንዴት?ጦር ሜዳ ያለ አማፂ የመንግስትን የመረጃ መረብ ቢጠልፍ በዚህ ህግ ፍርድ ቤት ሊቀርብ ነው?ቀድሞ ነገር አማፂ ነው የተባለውን ሰው ወይም ቡድን ለፍርድ ማቅረብ ከተቻለ መጀመሪያም በመንግስት ቁጥጥር ስር ነው ያለው ማለት አይሆንም?ስለዚህ የዚህ ህግ ዓላማ ሌላ ነው!መላውን ዜጋ በህግ ስም ለማሰር ብቻ ነው፡፡ለኢትዮጵያውያን ዜጎች፤ አገር ውስጥ ለሚኖሩ መለጎሚያ ሲባል የወጣ ህግ ነው!

እኔ ለምሳሌ የሐማኖት መምህር አይደለሁም፡፡ፖለቲከኛም አይደለሁም፡፡ምናልባት ኢአማኒ ሰው ቢኖር እንኩዋ ቃሉን ወይም ትንቢቱን ቀድሞ በተፃፈ በማንኛውም ዓለማዊ መፅሐፍ ላይ አግኝቶት ቢሆንና አሁን እየተተገበረ ካለው ነገር ጋር አገናዝቦ የዚያን ፅሁፍ እውነተኛነት ማረጋገጥ ቢችል ህን መብቱን መንግስት እንዴት ሊገድብበት ይችላል? ወደ ፊት እንዲህ ያለ ነገር ይከሰታል፤በእጃችሁ ላይ እንዲህ ያለ ነገር ይገጠማል፤ቁጥሩም 666 ነው፡፡የሚል ነገር ማንኛውም ሰው ቢያነብ አማኝ ሆነም አልሆነም በግሉ አገናዝቦ የመምረጥ መብት ይኖረዋል፡፡ መጥተው 666 እጅህ ላይ እንግጠም ሲባል እንደ ሐይማኖተኛ ሳይሆን እንደማንኛውም ማሰብ እንደሚችል ሰው ያነበብኩትን ነገር እየተተገበረብን እንደሆነ ማስተዋል እችላለሁ፡፡ስለዚህ አልፈልግም፡፡ቢል ወንጀለኛ እንዴት ይባላል?
ሁሉም ሐይማቶችና የሁሉም ቅዱሳት መፃህፍት ደግሞ ስለ ዓለም ፍፃሜና ስለ ምልክቶቹ በግልፅ ያስረዳሉ፡፡ይቺ የመማማርና መረጃ የመለዋወጫ መንገዳችን ሰው በፃፈው ህግ ከመነጠቃችን በፊት እናስተውል እላለሁ፡፡

ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ከፀደቀ በኋላ ማንም ዜጋ፣የየትኛውም ሐይማት ተከታይ የሆነ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሁሉ በነፃነት ስለፈጠረው አምለኩ ማውራትና መፃፍ አይችልም፡፡የሐይማኖት አባት ብለው ራሳቸው በሚሾሙዋቸው ሰዎች አማካኝነት ብቻ ነው ትምህርቱ የሚሰጠው፡፡እውነተኛ ቃሉን ሳይሆን የተጣመመ ወይም እነሱ እንድናውቅ የፈለጉትን ብቻ እየመጠኑ ማስተማር ነው የሚጠበቅባቸው፡፡ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ከፀደቀ በኋላ የየትኛውም ሐይኖማት ተከታይ ይህንን ነገር መፅሐፍ ቅዱስ ያወግዘዋልና ብሎ መቃወም አይችልም፡፡ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ከፀደቀ በኋላ ስለ ሰይጣን መልካምነት እንጂ ስለ አምላክ የትንቢት ቃሎች ማንሳት አንስቶም ማውገዝ፣ህዝቡን ማስጠንቀቅ፣ወንጀል ይሆናል፡፡የሐይኖማት ግጭት ለመፍጠር በሚል ያሳስራል፡፡ህዝቡን በመከፋፈል ዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነትን በመረበሽ፣ህዝቡን በማስደንገጥ፣በሚል ያሳስራል፡፡ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ፀደቀ ማለት ‹‹ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ 50 ሺ ቤተክርስቲያን ለማነፅ ሁለት ባለሐብቶች ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ገብተው ለህዝቡ እየፀለዩ ነው›› የሚል ዜና ሰምተን ‹‹እነማን ናቸው?ለምን መጡ?ምን አይነት ቤተክርስቲያን ነው የሚመሰርቱት?ትምህርታቸውስ ምንድነው ኖ…!››እያልን መሞገትም ሆነ መጠየቅ፣ስለነሱ ማውራትም ሆነ ያየውን መጥፎ ነገር ይፋ አድርጎ ሌሎችን ማስጠንቀቅ ወንጀል ነው፡፡ስማቸውን በማጥፋት በሚል ያሳስራል!በቃ ዝም!

በህዝቡ ዘንድ ውዥንብር በመፍጠር፣የተዛባ መረጃ በኢንተርኔት በማሰራጨት፣ሰዎች ማንበብ የማይፈልጉትን ሽብር ፈጣሪ ፅሁፍ በስፓም ሜሴጅ በመላክ በሚል ከአገር ባለቤትነት ብቻ ሳይሆን በማንነታችን ማዘዝ አለመቻላችንን እስቅናውቅ ድረስ አቁም!ግባ!ታሰር!ይለናል የኮምፒውተር ህግ!ይህ ነው ቀጣዩ ነገር፡፡
አሁንም ልብ በሉ!ለምሳሌ እነዚህ ሁለት ነጮች መጡ፡፡ለባለ ስልጣናት ፀለዩ፡፡ይሁን እሽ፡፡የሐይማኖት ነፃነት በህገ መንግስቱ ስላለ ማንም ሰው የመሰለውን ሐይማኖት መከተልና ማምለክ ይችላል፡፡ነገር ግን ሰዎቹ የመጡት ከባዕድ አገር ነው፡፡አጀማመራቸውም ግራ አጋቢ ነው፡፡ስለዚህ እኔ እንደ ዜጋ ስለ ሰዎቹ ማንነት ማለት ያለብኝን ወይም መጠየቅ ያለብኝን ነገር ወንድሜን ቤተሰቤን ልጠይቅ እችላለሁ፡፡ነገ በግድ ተቀበል ቢሉኝ እንቢ እላለሁ፡፡መብቴ ስለሆነ፡፡እንቢ የማለት መብቴን ግን በአዲሱ ህግ መንግስት ቀምቶኛል፡፡ህጉ ይሄ ነው፡፡ስለዚህ ይህ ፀደቀ ማለት አሁንም ሆነ ነገ ለማክሮ ችፕ ገጠማ እጃችንን እንደሰጠን ቁጠሩት፡፡

50 ሺ ቸርች!ቆይ እነማን ናቸው?ዓላማቸውስ ምንድን ነው?ከየት መጡ? ምን አይነት ቤተክርስቲያን ነው የሚያቁዋቁሙት?ከሁሉም በላይ ለምን ኢትዮጵያን መረጡ?አምላክን የማያውቁ ዜጎች ያሉዋት አገር ኢትዮጵያ ስለሆነች?ዕውቀት ስለሌለን?አስተምሩን ብለን ጠርተናቸው?በእምነት ላይ እምነት ሊጨምሩልን?ያለንን እምነት ሊንዱብን?ስላልተጠመቅን ሊያጠምቁን?ወንጌል ስላልተሰበከልን ሊሰብኩልን?ይህን ጥያቄ ነው መንግስት በፌስ ቡክና በሌሎች የመረጃ መለዋወጫ መንገዶች እንዳይጠየቁ የፈለገው፡፡እነዚህ ሰዎች የመጡት በይፋ ነው፡፡ለዓለም አቀፍ ሚዲያ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ እንደሚሄዱ፣ሄደውም 50 ሺ ቸርች እንደሚከፍቱ በይፋ ተናግረዋል፡፡ይህን ዓለም ያውቃል!ታዲያ እኛ የሐገሪቱ ባለቤቶች ይህን የማወቅ መብት ለምን እንነፈጋለን?ሚስጥሩ ሌላ ካልሆነ ለምን ህግ ያወጡብናል?ስለ ሐይማኖት ባናበሳ ስለ መሬት ቅርምት ማንሳት አንችልም?
ለማየት ያብቃችሁ፤ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ተግባራዊ ከሆነ ከዚህም ያለፈ ጉድ እያየን ዝም እንላለን፡፡ወይም ሞትን መምረጥ ወይ ዝምታን መምረጥ!
ልብ በሉ!እነዚህ ሰዎች 50 ሺ ቸርች ሊሰሩ መምጣታቸውን የሰማነው በኢትዮጵያ ቴሌቪዥን አይደለም፡፡ማንም አልነገረንም፡፡ዝቅ ብላችሁ ሊንኩን ተጭናችሁ ሙሉ የእንግሊዝኛ ዘገባውን ማየት ትችላላችሁ፡፡መረጃው ለዓለም ህዝብ ይፋ የሆነ ነው፡፡

ስለዚህ በቀላሉ አገኘነው፡፡እነሱም በድብቅ አልመጡም፡፡የሚደብቀው መንግስት ነው፡፡እነሱ ያልደበቁንን የገዛ መንግስታችን ይደብቀናል፡፡
ይህን ህግ የማውጣት ጉዳይ ቀና ሃሳብ ቢይዝ ኖሮ በቴሌቪዥን የማይረቡ ስብሰባዎችን እንደሚያሳዩን ሁሉ ስለዚህ ህግም በቂ የሆነ ትንተና መስጠት ይችሉ ነበር፡፡ግን ደባ ነው!
ተፃፈ ተረቀቀ ፀደቀ በነጋሪት ጋዜጣ ታወጀ አበቃ፡፡ሆነ ብሎ ነጋሪት ጋዜጣ የሚከታተል ዜጋ ምን ያህል ነው?ስለ ህጉ የምናውቀው ልንያዝ ስንልና ከተያዝን በኋላ ነው፡፡
ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ሊፀድቅ እንደሆነ በጋዜጣ ወይም በኢንተርኔት ሰማን፡፡ያውም ተሸራርፎና ተዘገበ ለማለት ያህል እንጂ ሙሉ ዝርዝሩ አልተነገረም፡፡ግን ዘዴውን ስለለመድነው አንዱን አንቀፅ ከነገሩን በቂ ነው፡፡ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ከፀደቀ ሌላ ብዙ 50 ሺ ቸርቾች፣ሌላ ብዙ 50ሺ ነገሮች ይተክሉልናል፡፡
ይህ ህግ ከፀደቀ የሁሉም ሐይማኖት ተከታይና ሐይማኖት የሌለው ዜጋ ሁሉ! ሁሉም ኢትዮጵያዊ ማን ለምን እንደመጣ አለማወቅ ብቻ ሳይሆን ማን መቸ መጥቶ ምን እንደሚያደርግ፣የሚደረገው ነገር ለምን እንደሆነና ውጤቱ ምን እንደሚመስል የማወቅ እድል አይኖርም፡፡በምን ሰዓትና የት ቦታ በኢትዮጵያውያን ላይ ማይክሮችፕ እንደሚገጠም ማወቅ ቀርቶ መጠርጠር አይቻልም፡፡ይህ ሆነ ማለት ደግሞ ወደድንም ጠላንም የሰይጣን ወታደር ሆነህ በወንድምህ ላይ ትነሳለህ!ሳታውቀው ሳገባህ ወላጆችህን ታሳድዳለህ፡፡ራስህን መቆጣጠር እስካትችል ድረስ አገልጋይ ትሆናለህ፡፡ይህን አይነቱን ነገር ልወቅ ብትል ብቻህን ታውቅና ዓላማው ሳይገባህ ሌሎችን ማዳንና ማስጠንቀቅ ሳትችል ህብረትም ሳትፈጥር እያወከውም ቢሆን ትጠፋለህ!ይህን አይነቱን ቃላት አይደል ህዝቡን ማስፈራራት ብሎ የሰየሙትና ያረቀቁት?ማን ማንን ያስፈራራል?አፍንጫችን ስር ምን እንየሆነ እንዳለ እያየን ካልፈራን እንዴት በወሬና በመረጃ ልውውጥ እንፈራለን?!ፍርሀታችንን ከህጉ ጋር አብረን ካልገደልነው አስከፊ ነገር ነው የሚጠብቀን፡፡ከጥሩ አሟሟትና የሠይጣን ወታደር ሆኖ ከሚሞተው ክፉ ሞት የቱ ይሻላል ይሆን?

ይህ ህግ በኢትዮጵያ ፀደቀ ማለት ሁሉም ነገር በነሱ ቁጥጥር ስር እንደሆነ እርግጠኛ ሁኑ!ከዚህ ህግ መፅደቅ በኋላ ማንኛውም ኢትዮጵያዊ እንኳን በሐይማኖቱ፣እንኳን በአገሩ፤ በገዛ ማንነቱ ማዘዝ አይችልም!እናስተውል!አስተውለንም በአንድ ድምፅ ህጉ እንዳይፀድቅ የተቻለንን እንጣር እላለሁ፡፡ ይህን ፅሁፍ ከፋም ለማም ሁሉም ሰው ማንበብ አለበት ብላችሁ የምታምኑ ሁሉ ሼር አድርጉት፡፡Read more..
