Uganda Cranes defender Isaac Isinde is a free agent.
The player has left Ethiopian giants St George FC by mutual consent after five years.
Reports from Ethiopia indicate that St. George FC was reluctant to renew Isinde’s contract after they recruited younger defenders.
head coach Martinus Nooij reportedly said that management of the club had discussions with Isinde and agreed to let him leave the club.
Isinde is currently part of the Uganda Cranes squad preparing for the Africa Nations Cup finals in Gabon next month.
Isinde joined St. George in 2011 and has won two Ethiopian Premier League titles and two Ethiopian FA Cups.
His departure leaves second goalkeeper Robert Odongkara as the only Uganda Cranes player at the club. Read more here
