Ethiopian Airlines Bombardier DHC-8-Q400
Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa) resumed scheduled flights to Juba, South Sudan, following a four month suspension. The carrier, along with several other foreign airlines, withdrew from South Sudan after fighting broke out between rival government factions in the city in July this year.

As it stands, Ethiopian offers a daily return service to Addis Ababa using Dash 8-400 equipment from its Addis Ababa hub. In addition, it also operates a weekdaily Q400 service from the South Sudanese capital city to Entebbe/Kampala.

Other carriers that have already resumed Juba flights include Kenya Airways (KQ, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta), Badr Airlines (J4, Khartoum), Nova Airways (O9, Khartoum), Fly540 (5H, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta), Astral Aviation (8V, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta), RwandAir (WB, Kigali), and flydubai (FZ, Dubai Int'l).
