(EBC; October 26, 2016)- According to Ethiopian Government Communication Affairs Office, the evacuation of Ethiopian troops from some parts of Somalia has no connection with the recently declared state of emergency in Ethiopia.
He also said Ethiopian troops under AMISOM are on their regular duties, and Ethiopia will strengthen its effort to bring about peace and stability in Somalia.
Ethiopian Government Communication Affairs Office Minister Getachew Reda made the remark today while briefing journalists on current issues in Ethiopia.
The minister also said the state of emergency declared recently helped citizens to be free from any threat and to carry out their routine duties peacefully.
