European Investment Bank (EIB) concluded an agreement with Ethiopia for the establishment of a country in Addis Ababa.
The agreement was signed in Luxembourg between Teshome Toga (Ambassador) on behalf of Ethiopia and Pim van Ballekom Vice-President of EIB for African, Caribbean and Pacific states, representing the bank.
The agreement is seen as an important milestone for the long standing relations Ethiopia had with the bank when it comes to financing key infrastructure projects.
The country office is expected to render a closer and greater access to provide finance for private a public institutions. It will also extend hand for a substantial contribution to Ethiopia’s aspiration of development.
