Ethiopia is due to embark on investing 150 billion U.S. dollars in the implementation of various green economy projects over the coming two decades.

According to Kare Chawicha, Ethiopian State Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate change, the new target aims to reduce greenhouse gas emission, advance economic growth as well as create jobs for women and youth. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)

— Board chairman of the Ethiopian industrial parks development corporation Arkebe Equbay said the construction of 4 industrial parks will be commenced late this month.
More than 1 billion U.S. dollars has been allocated for the parks to be built in four selected parts of the country, namely, Adama, Mekelle, Kombolcha and Dire Dawa towns, he said. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

— Ethiopia will host East Africa’s Largest Building and Construction Trade Exhibition this weekend, Expogroup Company said.
The exhibition that will take place May 6-8, 2016 is expected to attract exhibitors from over 22 countries and visitors from 11 African nations. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)
— Ethiopian Minister of Construction Ambachew Ayalew said his ministry has prepared building structure for 181 cities.

Preparation has also been finalized to prepare the structure for 100 additional cities, he told Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC). Enditem
