Ethiopian students sing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in celebration of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl's 47th birthday in a new video.
Peace Corps volunteer Matt Westerberg recently taught his class the lyrics to the Nirvana song as an exercise to help the students practice their English.
In the video clip the kids are seen in their classroom and outside singing the song. Some of the kids even do flips for the camera.
"Special birthday wishes to legendary drummer Dave Grohl," the class write in a special message with the video.
Before learning "Smells Like Teen Spirit" the students learned Pearl Jam's "Even Flow."
"I thought it would be funny to have the kids try and learn it," Westerberg said. "They laughed their way through it. The next day, they demanded to try it again."
