Ethiopia will host the first edition of Airport Infrastructures and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Aviation (AIMA-Africa) meeting September 22-24, here in Addis.
Organized by BCI Aerospace, a premier producer of high profile international business convention including Aeromart Toulouse, Aerospace & Defence Supplier Summit Seattle, AIMA-Africa is co-supported by the Ethiopian Airlines, the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the African Airlines Association, among others.
Some 400 participants representing 250 companies from 30 countries are expected to attend AIMA Africa 2015. The meeting will take place at UNECA Conference Centre.
According to Ethiopian Airports press release, the conference would help Ethiopia share the experiences with other countries in airport infrastructure building and maintenance.
Besides, the meeting would play a big role in creating business and bilateral cooperation with service providers of airport and infrastructure provider organizations, it said.
It is also expected to play a crucial role in promoting the growth of airport infrastructure and bring growth in the sector.
This business convention, the only event dedicated to airport infrastructures and MRO aviation in Africa, offers a high-value opportunity by combining pre-arranged one-to-one meeting.
AIMA Africa presents a unique platform for learning, prospecting, showcasing products and services and establishing new business partnership or strengthen new ones in three main areas, namely airport infrastructures, MRO and aviation training.
