The Addis Ababa University (AAU) and the Ethiopian Police University College yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in which they expressed interest to work together.
AAU President Dr Admasu Tsegaye said that the signing of the MoU would enable AAU to further strengthen its link with similar institutions. Besides, Admasu said that the MoU would allow the University to strengthen its effort to beef up university-community linkage.
Ethiopian Police University College President Deputy Commissioner General Mesfin Abebe for his part said the signing of the MoU would help the University College to learn from the experiences of the oldest higher learning institution in the country. He said: " The police force requires diversified knowledge and skill to accomplish its mission more than ever. Thus, working with the AAU gives us the opportunity to broaden our knowledge and skill in various spheres."
