Walya Antelopes coach Yohannes Sahle has assured Kenyans that his team will make it hard forHarambee Stars during Saturday’s return leg match of Chan qualifiers at Nyayo Stadium.
Ethiopia enjoys a 2-0 advantage from first leg, and any draw or a one goal difference loss will see the visitors’ progress to the next round at the expense of their hosts. Despite crying foul on the manner his team was received after landing in the country on Thursday, Sahle is adamant his side has what it takes to qualify.
“First, we were not received properly as expected, and we had a few challenges in contrast to the way we treated the national team of Kenya in Ethiopia. However, that is gone, and we will not let it affect our performance. We have come to play and win, that is why we are here,” Sahle told Goal.
“We are ready to create a difficult time for them, and ensure we progress to the next round of the qualifiers. The players are keen to get favorable results and that is what we will fight for. We respect Harambee Stars, but as a team we do not fear them, we want to give them a match they will remember to forget.”
