The Ethiopian Foreign Minister Dr.Tedros Adahanom is holding successive meetings at the sidelines of the 25th African Union Summit in Johannesburg. Today he held a meeting with Former Foreign Secretary William Hague and Hollywood star, Angelina Jolie, Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. The discussion focused on the UK initiative on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict.

On the occasion (of the 25th African Union Summit in Johannesburg) Dr. Tedros expressed his appreciation to the initiative spearheaded by the two dignitaries and shared his thoughts on ways to better tackle the problem of sexual violence in conflict.on the occasion noted Angelina Jolie expressed her desire to invest in ‪#‎Ethiopia‬ in hospitality sector .Dr Tedros assured her full support from the Government of Ethiopia.

On the sidelines of the 27th Session of the African Union Executive Council Dr. Tedros Adhanom held bilateral discussions with Rt. Hon. James Doddridge; Secretary of State for African Affairs of Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK. The discussion covered bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest.
