Your Excellence Honorable Kerry,
We, the Ethiopian community and residents of Dallas Fort Worth, deeply appreciate the strategic and mutual relationships between the two ally countries. It’s our core believe that the strategic partner of the two countries in the global war on terror , military, and substantial economic co operation will be sustained for the benefits of both nations.

Your Excellence, under the Vienna convention on diplomatic relation signed 18 April 1961, which an international treaty that states,” a diplomatic mission enables to perform its function without fear of coercion or harassment by the host country” however, as taxpayer, residents ,and citizens of U.S, we have witnessed inappropriate , repeated and sultry harassments on the Ethiopian diplomats and high level government officials on the soil of highly developed, democratic, and justice of nation on earth(U.S). We strongly believe the situation ignites the mind and hearts of all Ethiopian communities in Diaspora and abroad as well. The Ethiopian people deserve dignity, love, and respect wherever they are and regardless of their situation. The Ethiopian Embassy in Washington DC attacked by handful we believe Ethiopian origin intruders entered in to the Embassy compound on Monday, September 29, 2014 noon, and took down the historic and symbolic Ethiopian flag., harassed the diplomatic staffs, and damaged Embassy properties.
Your Excellence Honorable Kerry,
Article 22, No 2 , of the Vienna convention on diplomatic relation states,” the receiving state is under a special duty to take all appropriate steps to protect the premise of the mission against any intrusion or damage and to prevent any disturbance of the peace of the mission or impairment of its dignity”. When we see our flag stripped off by the illegal people incurred in the heart of the Embassy, our mind and heart deeply saddened. When we see our diplomats, government officials, and Embassy staffs disrespect and insulted by those who live on the land of law, our thought flattened because we do not know exactly a single nation on earth that gives legal coverage for abusers, attackers, intruders, aggressors, and personal right violators . Personal violation is not and cannot freedom of speech. As matter of fact, it is the violation of freedom of speech.
