Diretube. Unity for Democracy and Justice Held a Demonstration in Addis
The
opposition rally called by the Unity for Democracy and Justice Party
named 'Ye erita ken' is held today in Addis. The rally that started from
the party's office at Kebena goes through the Abuare road.
The demonstrators have asked for the release of the detained political leaders and journalists. In their slogans they have asked for the problems of good governance, water, electric, telephone and transportation services be solved.
At the conclusion of the demonstration, UDJ’s chairman Engineer Gizachew Shiferaw has urged for the government to answer the questions raised by the demonstrators. He also added that UDJ needs for the ruling party to have a discussion with the opposition parties.
