Diretube. Ethiopia to Open Railway Training Center
It
has been planned to open the first Railway Training Center in the
coming year, CEO of Ethiopian Railway Corporation Dr. Getachew Betru
told FBC.
According to him, the center will use instructors who are currently being trained in Tianjin Railway training Center in China, and it includes training for drivers, maintenance and security officers.
Dr. Getachew remarked that the chance would allow Ethiopia provide training for other African countries likewise it is doing in the aviation sector.
He said the establishment of the center will give alternative choice for East African countries; as most of African countries those use railway transportation used to train their experts in South Africa or China.
