The Green Buffaloes winger headed-in the winning goal in the 45th minute to score his second goal in a Zambia shirt in 2015 since ending his five-year exile in March when he also scored in a 2-0 friendly win over Rwanda in Lusaka.
And the day also marked striker Emmanuel Mayuka’s return after a six-month layoff following his recent recovery from a groin injury he suffered in January at the 2015 Africa Cup in Equatorial Guinea.
Mayuka came on i the 65th minute after replacing Lubambo Musonda.
Meanwhile, Ethiopia wasted a great opportunity to get an equaliser in the 75th minute when Binyam Assefa missed a penalty.
