The head of WHO prioritizes politics than health issues  says Italian journalist

Dr. Tewodros Adhanom, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO)

Dr. Tewodros Adhanom, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), considered his personal political issues are more important than health issues, says journalist Francesca Ronchen.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS DISMISSED DR. TEWODROS' ALLEGATIONS AS BASELESS

Speaking to Fana Broadcasting Corporation, the Italian journalist said that the statements made by Dr. Tewodros, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), are clear indications that his personal political priorities are more important than health issues.

In a press conference in Geneva on March 16, Dr. Tewodros said it was "sad" to hear him repeatedly say that there were no more dangerous people on earth than Tigray and that he was a native of Tigray.

She said it was inappropriate to raise personal issues in the face of urgent issues such as the Covenant 19 epidemic and the situation in Ukraine.

"People in Amhara and Afar are no less dangerous than the people of Tigray," she said. But Dr. Tewodros also asked why she did not speak out.

Dr. Tewodros also said that due to the destruction and looting by the TPLF in the Amhara and Afar regions, almost 3,000 health facilities have stopped providing services and millions of people have wandered without medical treatment.

"I am really saddened by this act of the head of the World Health Organization," said Francesca Ronchen, an Italian journalist.

As director of the World Health Organization (WHO), Francesca said she should have been concerned about the plight of other Ethiopians as well.

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) said it was "saddened" to hear that the health facilities in the Tigray region were not functioning.

Interestingly, when Dr. Tewodros took over the World Health Organization (WHO), he kept his promise to serve without discrimination and expressed his personal political views, "she said."

"The statements made on Twitter, Facebook and other forums over the past two years are based on the TPLF and its allies," she said.
