billion dollars in Ethiopia

President Dr. Mulatu Teshome said that the Ethiopian government has a full
support for the gas and petroleum development works in Ethiopia of the Chinese
company GCL Poly. Dr. Mulatu has received and talked with the company’s
delegation led by GCL Poly’s President Wang Li. President Mulatu expressed his
government’s determined position in helping the company’s oil and petroleum
investment.

company is also preparing to engage in agriculture, infrastructure,
construction and hospitality industry. The company has announced that it needs
8 to 10 billion dollars for its investment activities in Ethiopia.
It
is also indicated that the company’s chemical petro projects are the bigger among
those in the neighboring countries and that it will begin operation soon.
