HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 9 (ACN) Cuban President Raul Castro met on Tuesday with his Ethiopian counterpart Mulatu Teshome Wirtu who is on an official visit to the Caribbean nation.
Both leaders exchanged on the development of bilateral ties and coincided in the good state of the political and cooperation relations. They ratified the commitment in exploring for new ways to continue expanding the ties and discussed national and international issues.
The Ethiopian Ministers of Science Technology and Health, Getahun Mekuriya and Yufru Beheran Mitike, respectively, accompanied the President in addition to other members of the official delegation.
The Cuban delegation included Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Health, Foreign Trade and Investment and Science, Technology and Environment, Bruno Rodriguez, Roberto Morales Ojeda, Rodrigo Malmierca and Elba Rosa Perez, respectively and other representatives. Read more here
