New Bus Depot for Ethiopia’s Capital

Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia
Ethiopia launched construction of a new bus depot – dubbed Shegole Bus Depot – in its capital city, Addis Ababa. The construction is estimated to cost half a billion Birr.
According to Addis Ababa City Administration Transport Programs Coordination Office, the depot is going to be constructed over 52,000 hectares of land. The depot is said to also have garage and fuel station.
It is scheduled that the construction of the depot will be finalized in 21 months.
The construction is going to be carried out by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
