(EBC; August 22, 2016)- Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn met with the recently appointed UN Environment program (UNEP) Executive Director Erik Solheim.
Minister of Forest and Climate Change Dr Shiferaw Teklemariam who attended the event said the they discussed directions of implementing Ethiopia's environmental conservation programs.
According to the Minister deals which have been reached at the Paris climate conference have been the center of discussion.
UNEP Executive Director Erik Solheim said UN is ready to provide all the necessary support to realize Ethiopia's efforts for a carbon free middle income economic nation by 2025. Read more here
