Omani Products Exhibition (OPEX-2016) is going to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, by mid April. This is the first time the exhibition is being hosted outside of the Middle East.
100 Omani companies, who invested in agro industry, food, building materials and other sectors, will take part in the exhibition.
The exhibition is said to create the opportunity for business to business networking between Omani and Ethiopian traders.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Addis was selected for its fast and double digit economic growth. In addition to this, Oman sees market and investment opportunities in Ethiopia in addition to the fact that the city is a gateway to African markets.
Chambers of commerce of Ethiopia and Oman worked together to bring the exhibition to Addis Ababa.
