Jeffrey Schlupp made it 6-1 at the hour mark while David Accam capped it off for the Black stars during injury time.
In Group M, a last-gasp goal helped Cameroon earn a difficult win at home over Mauritania thanks to striker Vincent Aboubakar, who scored the winner in the 90th minute of the game.
Earlier in the day Ethiopia succeeded to overturn their first half 1-0 defeat to earn a difficult 2-1 win against Lesotho.
Ahly's striker Saladin Saed scored the winner for Ethiopia, ten minutes from time, giving his side a wining start in the African qualifiers.
