Nine new ships as it celebrates its 50th anniversary

Diretube. The Enterprise inaugurates its nine new ships as it celebrates its 50th anniversary

Ethiopian shipping and logistic services enterprise is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Marking the day, the enterprise is also inaugurating its nine new ships that are built with 300 million dollars.

The organization has also prepared a country wide symposium where a number of research papers are expected to be presented on various aspects of the country’s maritime history and the industry.

The organization’s corporate director Ato Usman Ali told FBC that the symposium will have around 250 participants among whom are government officials, intellectuals and business community members. The celebration and the symposium are expected to be an arena for gathering inputs for the organizations future plan.



The enterprise has set a goal to become the leading maritime enterprise in Africa and the 50th anniversary celebration is being celebrated in finding ways of fulfilling this goal.
